I started exploring fanfiction after the depression and withdrawal following the publication of Deathly Hallows. I generally ship Severus and Hermione, but have a fondness for Severus and Minerva.
I have a husband and son. They love basketball, and I love fanfiction. We kindly allow each other our obsessions.

Very cute, and you really had me on a false track, too.
Just one thing, out of painful personal experience: Unfortunately, exactly this procedure isn't completely painless, as the process of killing the nerve can be quite painful and short of general anaesthetic, it's not possible to numb everything necessary...

I liked how it was Hermione who needed the root canal and not Severus. Since we're so used to Severus needing dental work, it was quite a twist to find out it was Hermione.

LOL! This was great! I am trying to smother my laughter so my co-workers don't think I'm crazy (yes, I'm reading this at work while waiting for a program to stop running). This was incredibly funny, and yes, at first I thiought the person complaining was Severus so finding out it was Hermione was a real hoot!

I don't want people to think you're crazy. Although when I was writing I was saying all the dialogue as Hermione and Severus to make sure it could fit either one, and my husband probably thought I was crazy. :-) Thanks!

It was fun trying to make all the dialogue and action so that it could belong to either Severus or Hermione. I'm glad you liked it.
