That was a lovely story--I agree with Pookah, I'm glad that I saw it featured in Lumos so that I could read it; I apparently missed it when it was first posted!  While Lily might have made an excellent Ghost of Christmas Past, I think Albus did very well in the role too.  I also enjoyed the twist of Severus having the opportunity to go back in time and do it all over, rather than scrambling to pick up the pieces of his many mistakes.  Thanks for sharing this!

A good choice of ghosts to haunt him, though I think Lily should have been the ghost of Christmas past, Albus of present, and Sirius of future. But you wrote a lovely story, with a perfect ending....“I shall have to be a better teacher,” he purredOh, yum yum!!!!Merry Christmas :)

Thank you for giving Severus a second chance!  I have this mental picture of the two of them dancing at the Christmas Eve ball, holding each other so closely that she briefly steps on his toes: “Sorry,” she apologised, their dance at a Christmas Eve ball briefly pausing.“I shall have to be a better teacher,” he purred, thankful that this Christmas Eve was far better.Sweeeeet!  Beth
