Reviews for A Proud Tradition
I was just searching for a term godson and stumbled upon your fanfic... What touches me is that you are an author who faithfully looks out for the underdog minor characters whilst wisely coupling with a mainstay. Very reassuring! Will now read through and search for other teddy lupin Ffs!
wow, that was beautiful, sad but beautiful. made me cry it did.
Very sweet. I can imagine the two of them spending many long hours talking about Remus and Tonks. I still don't forgitve Jo for killing off both them. Grrr.
Aww, this story made me teary-eyed. Especially there in the beginning when visiting the graves. I love how Harry bequeathed Teddy the Marauder's Map. That is much more likely, I think, then Harry giving it to one of his own children! It really was a tragic thing, the death of Remus and Tonks and the orphaning of little Teddy. Thanks for writing this story!
Oh no, he is just encouraging him into mischief. Naughty Harry!
I hate that Jo killed off both Remus and Tonks leaving Teddy an orphan. But I'm glad that you've given Teddy the chance to know his parents through Harry. Harry didn't get the chance to know his parents, but at least Teddy will know something of them. The passing on of the Marauders' Map was a nice touch. Nice job.
OH it is bittersweet! in a way Harry and Teddy are peers, the sons of the original maradures. Maybe this generation can grow old together? Thank you mystery author
that was just perfect! thanks so much!
Lovely. You stayed away from the schmaltz and wrote a very believable story.
This sounds like it could be really cute.

Thank you. :)
This was a beautifully written story, poignant and heartfelt. I love how Teddy already knew about the Marauders and that George had told Teddy all about (well, as much as he knew at any rate) about his dad and his dad’s friends. I mean they were George’s idles! Still, a terrific story.

Thank you. Yes, I hated the fact that Remus and Tonks were killed. But Teddy's in good hands.

Very nicely done. Poor Teddy!
very sweet little story. nice contrast to harry's own upbringing to see him keeping the memory of his parents alive for poor teddy.
awww. very sweet.
~wipes eyes~ brilliant let the legacy continue
Awww that was sweet. :)
Absolutely two thumbs up:) This was wonderful:) Touching withtout getting sloppy, fun to read, and entirely believable:)
I enjoyed this. I liked the idea of a third generation of Marauders. Well written.

Thank you very much, Hedgehog.
The Marauders live on! :)
Such a lovely story. I love how you incorporated those difining characteristics that made Tonks so lovable, and the fact that Teddy gets the Marauder's Map. Very fitting
