Severus is a Potions master, quite capable at nonverbal spells, Voldemort's potions brewer... Yet he lays dying in the Shrieking Shack because he is too weak to administer his potions to himself. What a lousy way to go. If only someone knew his whereabouts, someone who could help him.

I love to write. A dreamer, a creator and filled with wonder, imagination and life. Sometimes I get lost in the other worlds I've read and in some I create. It's all good, I’m in good company.

Beautiful and really well-told... I loved this, great work!
I just can't find a drabble anywhere ;o).
Author's Response: Thank you very much.
Woohoo! Good Malfoys....this makes perfect canon sense! Dodges the Harry filter and everything!
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of Life Debt Repaid)
Thak you. Yes, maked sense to me! Besides, I know he lived. Harry isn't a medic and a lousy Healer - what does he know. Thank you for the review.
Great story, my thoughts exactly!

Thank you. I'm glad you enjoyed this.
I liked the way Nacissa paid her life debt! Good job! ;-)

Thank you very much.
I enjoyed this. It was good to continue what might have been a change of heart in the Malfoys in DH.
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of Life Debt Repaid)
Thank you. I figured Lucius and Narcissa would be likely canidates for helping him and it worked out so nicely and almost believable.
Very short and sweet. I like how it's Narcissa who finds him. Very appropriate.

Thank you very much.
This was just wonderful. Narcissa certainly did owe a huge debt to Severus, and you've managed the repayment quite convincingly. Thanks for sharing.

You are very welcome. I appreciate the lovely remark, thank you.
Now thats a different take on how he lives. And I like it and would read and review more if you decided to add more to it.

Arabella, Thank you. I intended this to be a one-shot and to only fill in the answer to one question: What happened to Snape's body? But I'm flattered that you liked it.
I really enjoyed your take on this prompt. Especially Narcissa being the one to help him. Perfect. She's a friend, and she does owe him a great deal for what he did for her and for Draco. In canon, she was only obsessed with Draco's whereabouts during the battle, but I'd like to think that she was on the lookout for her friend, Severus, too. It's much more realistic than say, Hermione, saving him (even though we would *like* that LOL). Great story. Thanks.

Thank you for the lovely comments. I simply wanted to use a different character and have it fit well with canon. I'm very pleased you liked this.
This shows their friendship really well and was a pleasure to read :)

Thank you. I'm glad you liked this.
OH that was so touching when Severus was trying to heal himself. Thank you for letting him live. Having Narcissa save him is the most logical answer I have read yet. Thank you mystery author

I actually wanted this to be as believable as possible and still fit canon, minus the Severus died part. I think I was more disappointed in how callously JK just off him that I felt Severus needed a realistic reprieve. Besides, HEs a master at potions, able to brew glory, bottle fame and even put a stopper in death right? Im glad you liked this. Thank you for the nice review.
Interesting, I'm glad that the Malfoy's are showing some gratitude for the efforts Severus made for Draco.
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of Life Debt Repaid)
Thank you. It seemed appropriate and fit well with the prompt
*applauds*
I love to read Severus and Narcissa's friendship like this, and your Narcissa is a smart witch. She loves Lucius, but doesn't need him to think for her.
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of Life Debt Repaid)
Thank you. I too like a smart capable witch.Just think about all the times Lucius or Draco may have come home hurt or hexed. It jsut seems that Narcissa would have taken care of them. Also, even though she's deplicted as snobby, her actions were such in HBP that it told me Narcissa and Snape were friends and she trusted him. So... it fit nicely with this drabble. Thank you again for the nice reveiw.
Nice spin on payinga debt, and she owns him that.
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of Life Debt Repaid)
thank you. yes she does.
Really like that one. Thanks for sharing!

I'm glad you like this. You are quite welcome.
I love that you used his nose, even with the distraction of trying to stay alive, to discern who his savior was. It was very fitting that it was Narcissa, I truly believe after all he did for Draco she would have risked her life to save him.

I wrote this as a get-well card for my beta, XXX.
For a change I wanted to use one of the other senses, and kept Snape’s eyes closed, making him relay on smell and hearing, since I took away his sight, touch and most of his ability to speak. I just thought it would be different. I also wanted to use some one likely to help him, but someone unusual in fanfic. Narcissa seemed ready made: Lucius knew where Snape was, would realize he was missing, and Narcissa is a Death Eater (or in their circles) and could easily get to him. Plus, by saving him she repays a life debt. Anyway I'm really pleased that you like this.
I liked that it was entirely from Severus' point of view, as the passive character. It puts a different sort of light on the situation and emphasises the urgency in what Narcissa is doing
If I were I'll I'd definitely appreciate a get-well gesture like this one. :)

Thank you. It was written as hugs n’ love to my beta, and made her smile. I’m very glad that others such as yourself like it too.
I also wanted to make the story more personal, and I statements tend to do that, plus I never liked the ‘Nagini killed Snape’ thing. Too cheesy and inconsistent to everything else JK gave us in canon.
i liked this very much; it has a nice flow to it. i like the idea of narcissa stepping up to pay a life debt to severus, and i think you did a nice job with your characterizations and establishing the mood of the piece.
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of Life Debt Repaid)
Thank you. I wanted to write it in first person, and from Snape's POV, but I aslo wanted to use someone else as the heroine - and Narcissa seemed ready-made. I'm very glad it came out like it did. Thanks for the positive feedback. It means a lot to me.
It's great. I love that you used Narcissa. :)
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of Life Debt Repaid)
Thank you. I'd like to think Lucius sent her...
I really like your take on Narcissa paying back her debt to Severus.
