I can see the Weasley perspective if the appointment was the only time the business meeting could be held and Ron was a necessary part of the orphanage visit. However, it appears that bringing Ron was more for a security blanket for Hermione. Since this particular charity is one that she feels deeply about and apparently so does the Professor, it is nice that Hermione had the courage to make the first move to see him socially. So this brief snapshot of life ended on a positive note. That's always nice.

As with all of your stories, I enjoyed it very much!  It actually would make the beginning of something longer.  It is original and leaves you with questions that would like to be answered.  As always, a sign of a good story teller and author.
