Born in Denmark in the year of '79. Drink a lot of tea and is completely an utterly addicted to my dearly beloved LJ account. Feel free to friend me if you're so inclined.
I'm only posting my own favorites and newer stuff here. All my other stuff can be found at my fic comm on LJ, but I'm a fairly mediocre writer though, so consider yourself warned.
There's a lot of Draco/Hermione, a somewhat smaller amount of Severus/Hermione and a wide-ranged smattering of minor pairings including but not limited to Adrian/Hermione, Neville/Lavender, Albus/Sirius, Filch/Luna, Draco/Ginny, Harry/Pansy and Ron/Voldemort. There's also some general stuff and some original fics there.

Oh my! The shamanic dance scene was quite funny, with the shakers and the jiggling and the nudity- I was laughing to my laptop! I imagine that if anyone could be annoyed into consciousness, it would be Severus "The Irritable" Snape.
Just too funny! Well done!

Thanks, I'm glad you liked it. :)
The ending is very probably what Snape would have felt in that situation. It just makes me wonder what he'll decide to do next and how that would turn out. You don't have any little plot bunnies biting along this line, do you?
Response from Moreteadk (Author of Limbo)
Sorry, it's extremely rare that I do sequels. If I come up with one, I'll (try to) write it, but I can't promise anything. I left the ending open on purpose. I'm glad you liked it. :)
Very nicely done. :D I love how Hermione and Harry wouldn't give up. You also did a very nice job painting his existence in the coma. Poor Severus. I can see that after so long he would find life a bit overwhelming again.
Response from Moreteadk (Author of Limbo)
Thanks, I'm glad you liked it. I'm particularly glad you liked the coma-bit. It was a bit of a challenge to write something like that, I've never done that before, and at the same time the words just came so easily. I just love when that happens. :)
This was a really good take on the prompt#31. The humor and the open ending was prefect. Great job.
Response from Moreteadk (Author of Limbo)
Thanks, I'm glad you liked it. :D The open ending was totally on purpose too.
It would be nice if he would seize his chance at happiness and be really grateful to have life restored to him, but I really can see him having those kinds of doubts. He deserved sweet relief from the stress of his life until Nagini's attack, and I can see him preferring nothingness, quiet, peace. He doesn't really have any reason to expect anything better from life. Hopefully, Hermione and Harry will help him with the transition. =) Great story; it was truly enjoyable.
Response from Moreteadk (Author of Limbo)
There will definitely be a transition period for him. I imagine it would be difficult to understand the enormity of this whole new chance he's been given in such a short time. I'm sure Harry and Hermione will help him cope and get started, though. They kind of have a responsibility to do so now, don't they?I'm glad youliked it. :)
They annoyed him back to life LMAO!
Response from Moreteadk (Author of Limbo)
Thanks, I'm glad you liked it. :D
I like the ending. It gives the reader pause to think of any number of ways things could end up. Thank you mystery author
Response from Moreteadk (Author of Limbo)
Thank you. :) I'm glad you liked it.
I can see Snape beeing irritated out of a coma and then being grumpy about it. :D
Response from Moreteadk (Author of Limbo)
Thank you. :)
It just seemed to me that if he was pretty much getting accustomed to being dead and then got brought back to a life that so far hadn't turned out too well for him, he might not be ecstatic about it. :)
irratated him back to consciousness!! love it! thanks
Response from Moreteadk (Author of Limbo)
I'm the one saying thanks. :p I'm glad you liked it.
good take on the challenge

Thank you, I'm glad you liked it.
Oh, my. Poor Severus. I almost want to know what happens next.
Response from Moreteadk (Author of Limbo)
I kind of do too. :) I'm sure he'll learn to cope eventually though. Probably.
I'm glad you liked it.
This was different. No ‘happily ever after’ in sight, but well written and an intriguing take on the prompt… I look forward to the second chapter.
Response from Moreteadk (Author of Limbo)
I'm sorry, there won't be a second chapter, this is just a one-shot.
It is rather bittersweet though, but I like to think that it doesn't exclude all chances of happiness for him, even if he can't see it at the moment
"They annoyed him back to life." LMAO! Great story. Not everything must be round and nice, life has asperities and unwanted turns, doesnt it?
Response from Moreteadk (Author of Limbo)
Indeed. Not everybody can get the ultra-super-happy ending, even if they deserve it. Sometimes it just comes with a bit of bitterness as well.
I'm glad you liked it. :)
I have to say how surpised I am at how sad this one turned out to be. For a one-shot I was hoping for more resolution. Oh well. It is nicely written and an enjoyable read. In my mind, Severus comes to terms with living -- almost for the first time. And he doesn't do it alone. Thanks for sharing your version of his future, JoAnne
Response from Moreteadk (Author of Limbo)
Well... Not everybody can have a super-happy ending, even if they've deserved it. The world doesn't work that way, unfortunately.
Maybe he does come to terms with it in time, and maybe he gets help with it. :) I like to think that it isn't completely closed off for some amount of happiness, even if he can't see it at the moment.
They've annoyed him back to life..."
That's priceless - that is! That wraps up everything about Snape's relationship with Potter and Granger!
Except, I thought a little happiness for Snape could have entailed maybe at a glimpse of Hermione naked. That could give him that nudge towards "glad to be alive"? You know, the thought he might see her breasts again?
Just a thought.

Well, it isn't really supposed to be a romance fic or even a shippy one, so I'm sorry I couldn't give you that. I was aiming for bittersweet this time, rather than happy ending. Maybe it'll come later when she forces him to be grateful (and you know she will)
I'm glad you liked it.
Wow - an unexpected ending for sure! Yet, for Snape, very realistic :) Good writing.
Response from Moreteadk (Author of Limbo)
Thank you, I'm glad you liked it. :)
Oh, I like this story! It just goes to show that not every well-written fanfic must have lots of lemon and romance.
Response from Moreteadk (Author of Limbo)
Thank you! I was aiming for the bittersweet, and I'm glad it worked.
I'm glad you liked it. :)
i liked your take on this prompt. severus's musings when he thought he was dead seemed very much in character. i also appreciated that there was quite a bit of wit and humor in the piece. my favorite line, that had me rolling:"Merlin! They've annoyed him back to life..." if anyone could annoy him back to life, it'd be the two of them, wouldn't it?i just didn't love the last sentence, because i want him to be as happy to have a second chance at life as i am to have him back from the grave. but that reflects less on your writing than on my desire to see him have a happy ending. overall, i think you did a great job.
Response from Moreteadk (Author of Limbo)
I'm glad you liked it. :)
I was aiming for a bittersweet ending this time, rather than a happy one, so sorry I couldn't give you that.
I like how this isn't tied up in some pretty little bow, and I think that him missing the "peace" is a great take on things.
Response from Moreteadk (Author of Limbo)
Thank you, that was exactly the sort of bittersweetness I was aiming for. I'm glad you liked it.
I just thought that if you thought you were dead and then got brought back to life, and a miserable existance to boot, more or less against your will, there probably wouldn't be a whole lot of elated whooping going on. That would be pretty hard to cope with.
"Merlin! They've annoyed him back to life..." he whispered to himself in astonishment. ROFLMAO! Too bad poor Severus is so ambivalent about life at the end. I hope you do write a sequel to this after the challenge is over.
Response from Moreteadk (Author of Limbo)
I'm glad you liked it. :DDon't hold your breath for sequels though. Sequels happen very rarely for me, but if I get an idea, I'll think about it. :)
I can see how the two of them could annoy him to wakefulness. Is there the possibility of a sequal in the future. The conclusion seems so open ended. Will it help if I beg?
Response from Moreteadk (Author of Limbo)
It was open ended on purpose, to sort of give the impression that Severus could still have a decent chance at making a life for himself that is considerably better than what he had before, even if he doesn't really believe it himself at the moment.
I'm sorry to say that I have no plans of a sequel. To be honest I extremely rarely write sequels to anything.

"Merlin! They've annoyed him back to life..."It fits superbly with the part of the challenge - "there's this irritating know-it-all with a crazy shaman trance plan and a boy-who-just-won't-bugger-off."Lovely!!
