Oh, this is marvelous - from the title to the characterization, it just flows so well and although it's capturing moments of joy (and Snape's sadness), it's very poignant.

Awwww! I like that you've written that Lily's Patronus was the original and James' the imitation. I've read fics and speculations where it's usually the reverse which is thought to be the case. Yours shows Lily as more of an individual.I also quite liked each person's work on finding their happy memory. Well written!

Delightful story.  I could just feel Severus' angst.

Unreturned love. The torture. Severus must have hurt so much at the time of Lily and James dating in Hogwarts. You portrayed the beginning of it in a fetching way, although I long to soothe his heartaches.

Poor Sev. I'd like to comfort him.
