Hey! I came to look for your stories and poems and realized I'd read this one before. I love it. I wish this is what happened, and if this really were what happened, I think you captured Snape's reaction very acutely =)

Response from Merlina Thalia (Author of Reviving Snape)

Thanks, I'm glad you enjoy it so much! This was the ending I invisioned right away:)

For such a short writing spasm it was very good, i could easily see this fiting into the deathly hallows.

Response from Merlina Thalia (Author of Reviving Snape)

Yes it was rather short lol. Thanks:)

Response from Merlina Thalia (Author of Reviving Snape)

Oh, yes. Very nice. Still sad, but at least there is hope.

Response from Merlina Thalia (Author of Reviving Snape)

Yes, it is rather sad, but I imagine now with the war over, hopefully he won't feel quite as alone. Thanks for the review:)

Great drabble, please expand! When I was reading DH, I kept thinking that Fawkes was going to pop up somewhere but he never did. This is a perfect parallel between CoS. Thanks!

Response from Merlina Thalia (Author of Reviving Snape)

Thanks, I'm glad you like it! I just really have to figure out where to go with it. I never really expected to add more about Lily, as I've never read or written anything Snape/Lily, but I think it is at least heading that way to end up about him missing her. Thanks for the review!

This was rather a nice take on that scene of the book.  I agree that it could be expanded into a full length story.  Write it and I will be reading it.... cheers!

Response from Merlina Thalia (Author of Reviving Snape)

Thanks! I just might do that. I did not expect it to go where it did at all though, as I added more about Lily and his pain after the fact when I doubled the length. You never know where it will take you:)
