Jumped on the Harry Potter bandwagon in 2000 (when Goblet of Fire was out in hardback). Prisoner of Azkaban is my favourite in the series, followed by Order of the Phoenix. I read and write in the SS/HG corner of the Potterverse.

It's probably the best out of every drabble I've written.
I read this dark drabble a couple of times and then thought to myself "OMG, is this from Hermione's POV???" You have packed SOOOO much into a few, short lines. Very, very well done.

Who is the narator? Very effective ficlet, but I wasn't sure from whose POV.

It's intended to be from Hermione's POV, but only the last line indicates that.
