That last bit reminded me of Rapunzel. Don't ask me why.I think this is a really neat take on what happened to Snape's body and it gives a sense of closure for him and Harry.

This is just the type of 'ending' that I was looking for (and didn't find) in DH. I really liked this story.

This was a very pleasant story. I had wanted Snape to come out the hero, but I didn't want him to die (obviously), and I really wanted to see Harry and Snape have a conversation about everything. I liked that you gave Harry a chance to say those things. I also like how it ended: with hope of peace and no chance of Harry's life ending up like it did in the epilogue—er—the dream you made him have. And I like that I can imagine what will happen at Grimmauld Place. Especially if I get to pretend that they'll… um… get along really well. Thanks for the story!

Very nice. I loved the simplicity and heart felt expression of this turn of events. Especially that the epologue was nothing more than a dream. 

That would be nice, if Severus could have some peace at last.  Tthat is all I really want for him, to find some peace.

You wonder why JKR wrote a character with such depth as Severus and then let him die in such a meaningless way.  But it was always about Harry (which is fine too).  Thanks for the story!

Yes! Another way for Snape to survive DH. And "19 years later" is a dream. Better than Bobby stepping out of the shower on "Dallas." A sequel would be nice if it't not snarry.

Only Harry would think that kidnapping is a good way to get his life back on track.  I like it.

What a delightful alternative.  I liked the way you worked it out. I also appreciate your Minerva comments.  After all those years of being his professor and colleague I didn't want their last exchanges to be ones of hate.  I see that this is a one shot but I hope you rethink that and maybe write a sequel.  After Harry helps Severus get back on his feet does Harry then try and fulfill that dream he saw?  I would be interested in your take on the future.  Thanks for sharing this story.  It was very good. Very cool.  I like that Harry decided to act on his own, with minimal prompting. 

Another story by you that I really like. It's interesting with a Harry/Snape story where you feel that they might actually be able to become friends. Very good.

And maybe Snape then falls in love with Hermione and lives happily ever after? *grins* I enjoy the thoughts you have given to Harry. I do think that he would have helped Severus in the end if he could have, after he learned the truth.
