A refreshing change of pace.  I get so tired of girls makeing themselves sick over body weight.  Models are not typical female shapes, and the 'barbie' figure is impossible to achieve, unless you have massive cosmetic surgery, and yet these are the images forced down young girls throats.  Not only that but trying out this kind of dietary lifestyle will not only damage organs, but destroys the metabolism.  I hope this story reaches out to alot of teens.

Its an interesting study of the psychology of anorexia, but i fail to see what it has to do with Hermione Granger apart from the name.

This is a very touching and sad story.

Very few people actually understand that anorexia is just another form of self-mutilation, and just how easy it is to move into cutting from that affliction. This is well laid out and emotional.

That was very well done and very intense in its simplicity. I loved how strong you made the emotions--they screamed right from the page. As someone who has suffered from anorexia and had a brother who was a cutter, I can identify with all of this. But I'm so, so glad you give that little bit of hope at the end.

I hope others who have/have considered starving themselves or cutting read this and discover that it's not worth it. And I hope they find the hope at the end. Beautiful.
