I am SO enjoying this story. It's an interesting new twist to that particular combination of people. I'm looking forward to reading more!
It gets better and better - reluctant Hermione, angry Ron, and now, overhearing Snape. More soon, please!
Why doesn't she tell Ron that she wants to drop out of the wedding plans? I guess the visit at the Burrow will spur things along, somehow... But knowing that SS's brain is still functioning at some level is good to know, even if Hermione doesn't know it. Good chapter.
There really needs to be a break-up soon. At the Burrow? This situation is worse than anything for her.
Oh my! His head is in perfect health. I'll make a wild guess that means he's also aware of his surroundings. Things could very interesting, then.
Can't wait for more!
Ack! I was so busy writing my exchange piece, I totally missed that you were writing a new story!
What a fabulous beginning! All kinds of possibilities here. I can't wait to see which direction you'll take it. In fact, chapter two is calling my name right now! :)
Another fabulous chapter. I really do wonder what Snape it thinking - are you planning on telling us? If I ask really, really nicely? :)
Lovely story, great chapter. More thoughts from inside Snape's head would be nice though.
Hmmm... And Narcissa had petitioned to have Snape placed in her care. Makes me begin to wonder! Good chapter.
I am loving this story. I can see Hermione taking care of Snape, It's in her nature.
I'm hoping that you are writing more of this. I kept up with it when you were updating, and just found it again on Ashwinder. Please consider an update. We're waiting almost patiently... honest.
Very interesting first chapter!! But a question, if I may? Why didn't Hermione just cast a cooling charm on the room?
You know . . . Snape may well deserve it . . . but the man only JUST came out of a three year coma. She's being a mite bit uncharitable, even if Narcissa did fling herself at his feet and pledge to do anything. For all Hermione knows, Severus kept the photograph as a means of blackmailing her later!
I'm very much enjoying this story. I cannot wait to read what happens now that Snape has begun to recover.
Aaaahh!!! Thank you for the update, that was very quick! I'm so torn--I do and don't want to know more about Snape's perspective. We don't get to see a lot of 'Snape' in this story, but that really lends itself to staying with Hermione, it really makes the story worthwhile when one can wonder and be totally confused about the actions of other characters. Does that make sense? Well I'll say it does and save you the time--it's supposed to be a compliment at any rate, reading your fics is a blast, I look forward to more!
Great story! I can't wait to see where you go next with it!
Oh dear, he's going to find that photo when they're in a semi-intimate clinch, isn't he?
Sorry, sorry, I'm anticipating and you probably aren't going there, but.
V good writing - though I wanted more interaction with Snape and less of Hermione's musings!
I'm sure that's coming though. Go you!
Hermione isn't very secure in herself, she seems almost jealous. Is she finally starting to realise she has other feelings for Severus I wonder?
Amazing how badly those two can mistake all sorts of things about the other. Even with one of them unable to talk.
Hey, you have a lovely story going on here. I wonder wich direction it's going to take. The blink once or twice is just the thing Hermione would think of. Keep up the good work!
Great chapter! I can't wait until they can actually have a two-way conversation, that should be very interesting. I s'pose it'll be a while until they can shag, o well :o) Can't wait for an update, it's a wonderful story! Thanks,Sue.
Hermione's lucky he couldn't speak! I really tried not to be that bothered by Narcissa's photo, but I'm really really curious now. Yes I really dared to use the same word not just once but three times in the same sentence
Really enjoying this. I do wonder what the mysterious photo of Narcissa is about. I do think Snape should be a bit more grateful as regards his much improved living conditions, but I suppose his reaction is very Snapeish. Maybe when he cools down a little....
I like this Snape. He is so irrational. He is angry enough to spit nails that she "invaded" his house when he is in a state where he cannot interact with his house or its contents in anyway. His anger is so great that it can actually displace his paralysis (or the poison that is causing it), yet he doesn't seem to grasp this "improvement" in anyway than to use it to show how angry he is!I think Snape has been locked up in his own head, talking to just himself, for too long and now his emotions, rather than his intellect, are running things. Hopefully he'll come around, though I can imagine too much "blink once / blink twice" will wear on his non-existent patience.Hermione, on the other hand, did abandon her usual "cool use of intellect" and responded from only an emotional standpoint. I had expected her to quiz him about the poison, right down to the page number where he wrote down the formula. I mean, who knows, maybe the eye-open thing is only good for this one time and she wastes her shot being petulant. I think that is why I like your Hermione so much. She is not so logical and much more human. Thanks so much for sharing your imagination with us.
