Oh... I don't know what to say. This is so not my ship, but this was still heartbreaking and beautiful.... Hmm... would you hold it against me if I imagine that in a second Snape enters - saves her - they realise he was really a good guy - Hermione realises that Ron will bore her arse off and falls in love with Severus? If not I apologize profoundly.

Aw, thanks! It really is awesome when someone not into a particular pairing can still like a fic with it... And there was an ambiguous ending for a reason - go ahead and put Snape in there if you want to! :-)
