I normally don't respond to the shorter stories simply because I don't know what to say for encouragement, but heaven knows you don't need encouragement to write. So I will just say that was delightful, I love how Snape tells Hermione he couldn't handle thinking she went out with him only for her potions certificate. Very in character. Your story was wonderful just as I've come to expect.

I appreciate that very much. Sometimes I think he wouldn't take rejection well, but I also don't think he'd want to be used either--even if he was getting what he wanted. I'm of the mind it's better to be told no than to be led on and later finding out that no was the true answer to begin with. :) I do ramble, don't I? Thanks for reading. I'm happy you liked it.
