Lily is a lucky woman to have his devotion. Later in his life, though, you must know that it was I, Narcissa, whom he cared for deeply. :)

This is perfect, my dear. I really appreciate it. It's not often I get to read something Snape/Lily and just enjoy when I do. You put the right touch on his letter, the regrets, his feelings, and I liked the way Harry felt about it. I think he's making the right decision. :)

Oh wow, how prophetic! You wrote this before Book 7 went out, and it was so right on the dot! :) At first I thought this was post-DH until I read that thing about the Dementor's Kiss, and I wondered if it was AU. But then I read your A/N and realised it was not so. Very good. :)
