I absolutely LOVE this! As I was reading, I kept thinking, "She remembered Veronica!" Being around when someone needs you goes both ways! You have always been there for me too! I love you! Thanks for the awesome present!

Awwwwww what a wonderful birthday present. I like how the angst resolved itself without too much torture. Little Veronica was a sweet touch. Oh it was nice SW. Thanks for sharing.

Wonderful story! I just love it when someone gets a birthday gift and we all get the present! This story has great touches to it. I was hoping he would come around, but I didn't expect it to be literally. As usual great writing shows. Thanks for sharing. JoAnne

You strike such a nice balance here - sweet without being cloying. I also love that Hermione was firm about her needs without becoming nasty.
You do so much to flesh out Ronnie with just one line:
'“That’s right!” Veronica interrupted. “He came to talk to me.” She pointed to herself with both thumbs, a smug look on her face.'
