This was amazingly well-written and evocative. It shows so well the depth of despair and hopelessness of being a survivor of the Light when it is the Dark that has won the war. At first, I thought the speaker was Percy, but as the monologue progressed, I realised that the speaker must be Ron.Angsty, yes, but with an ember of hope, just like Ron's, burning through at the end.Thanks for sharing.

Thank you so much! This story is near and dear to me. It represents deep gutteral grief and hopelessness at a time in my life when I lost someone very close to me. Such an emotive piece, extremely well written - I loved it. I felt his despair, his loneliness and then his hope. I love to be drawn into a story, to feel as the characters do and you achieved this. Excellent!

It is rare to find a story where the overtaking of the Dark is shown so wonderfully and told from a Weasley. I really love this story. It made me shivver!
