45 years old and hopelessly intrigued by the Potterverse and all that it contains. Really, I'm too old for this sh*t, but... here I am.

So beautiful. You write of the complexity of human emotion very, very well. I found your story wonderfully descriptive & compellingly told. I wish I could write as well.

Thank you for your lovely words. This story is very special to me, and the writing process felt as though it was inspired by something bigger than me :-) the Muse was in her element.

Thanks for giving this a try - yeah, Snape/Lupin have bucketloads of issues!! ;o)Appreciate the review.HH

Thank you very much for the review!;o)HH
This was such an emotional story. You are really talented at weaving your words to pack in a lot of intensity. Both Severus and Remus are hurting so badly, a deep chasm and gaping hole as you described it, and now, hopefully they can fill that empty space in each other. Wonderful story.

This fic was both difficult and a pleasure to write, one because it allowed me to 'go' places I'd not been before (slavery, dark!fic as requested by the prompt) as well as the emotional aspect of things and just how tied in knots we can find ourselves when dealing with love. I felt that the story needed to be intense in order to realistically deal with themes as large and powerful as serpent wanted. Thanks for reading and reviewing!~H
Very nice, and it was a weird story, but I liked it. Not sure the whole slash thing is for me, but I have nothing against it, and I feel that it was a very good story on your part.Well done!

Thanks. I agree - slash definitely isn't for everyone, and this was written for a prompt given at the Snupin_Santa 2006 Gift Exchange. It certainly called me to a darker place than I normally go, but I'm happy you enjoyed it. ~HH

It's good you can write about a multitude of things though. Many people struggle creating stories, I being one of them, and prefer to read and review. Keep writing, and defining yourself as a write of many great things and creating stories no one but yourself can have dreamed of.Go for it!

it was good. very graphic.
Response from HogwartsHoney (Author of Between the Lines of Fear and Blame)
Yeah, graphic just about sums it up ;-) I was concerned while writing it that I might go a bit 'over the top', but my recipient was really pleased with it, and I'm hapy you enjoyed it also.

Ack. This was a gorgeous read. I love a good Snupin, especially when they put each other through hell in the name of love, and this was heart-wrenching stuff, from start to finish. Bloody hot, too. *g*
Response from HogwartsHoney (Author of Between the Lines of Fear and Blame)
Wow, thanks! What's Snupin without a little angst, right? That's a wonderful review, and I'm really pleased that everything worked for you. I'm pretty proud of the finished product, helped in no small part by my fantabulous betas! ~HH
As heart-wrenching as the best angst can be - I love how you don't sugarcoat RL's time in captivity yet bring these two together in a way that feels organic and unforced by the end.

*blushes*
High praise indeed. I really wanted the grittiness of Remus' plight to feel authentic, partly because the prompt called for it and also partly because I felt that I needed to branch out a bit and really 'dig deep' into the psyche of a prisoner who tries to hold out hope but feels it slipping away. This type of fic is a departure from my normal writing style but I really enjoyed stretching to accomplish it, and of course, ebonyserpent gave me such an excellent scenario to work with! Thanks for your review. ~HH
I loved your story, it's very graphic and real, not wish-washy. It makes you think about what J.K leaves out. I also liked the title, based on lyrics from The Fray. ( I love them!)
Response from HogwartsHoney (Author of Between the Lines of Fear and Blame)
Well, my giftee, ebonyserpent wanted a slavefic with BDSM, and it's hard not to get dark and dirty with one of those. Thanks for your review! HH
I love Snupin ^^, lovely fic, by the way
Response from HogwartsHoney (Author of Between the Lines of Fear and Blame)
I love 'em too!! Thanks! HH
I don't care if this is a very old piece, I have to say - phenomenal.I have never read such a realistic story with this kind of harshness. Not with such a beautiful, shining element of hope in it anyway. You're terribly skilled and I'm just... yeah. Massively impressed. This story is really a hell of an achievement.
Response from HogwartsHoney (Author of Between the Lines of Fear and Blame)
Oh my God, have I not responded to this????? I'm so very very sorry, and thanks so much for leaving such a wonderful review. The anonymity of the Exchange enabled me to create the story without the usual 'holdbacks' in terms of plotlines and treatment of characters. It was incredibly freeing as well as humbling, because the characters truly 'lived' their stories - I just put it into words :)Thanks again for your review - really. I'm grinning.~HH
I don't know if I'm actually getting used to reading a few SS/RL stories, or more likely I just like reading stories were Severus doesn't end up kicked in the teeth by 'friends'. Either way, enjoyed the read.

Well, I personally love an ass-kicking Severus! Thanks for your review. HH
Oh, my, my, but that was incredible. I just love a good Snupin ... and, honey, this one was good! You kept me guessing as to Snape's true loyalties right through the story. Your Remus was so sad, but stoic and brave. This was just wonderful!
Response from HogwartsHoney (Author of Between the Lines of Fear and Blame)
Thanks, lovey! We'll have to blame ebonyserpent for *making* me hurt him so much! *snort*
Wow, that was really intense. I liked it alot.Since I just got into Snupin, thanks to you, this was nice.So intense, but what good story isn't?Kudos!~Chavelaprincess!
Response from HogwartsHoney (Author of Between the Lines of Fear and Blame)
Squee!! I didn't even know it had been validated yet, and you're my first review! Thanks, hon, and yeah, it was pretty intense, both for us and for the poor characters. Welcome to the Snupin way of love! *snicker* ::hugs you::
