Reviews for Siren Song
A special Christmas gift from two years ago. It is wonderfully poignant, and I like to think that Severus has met someone who can bring him happiness during those troubled times.Well done!Beth
Lovely. I want to know what happens next, I always want to know what happens next and I don't suppose Keladry will tell!

The delightful thing about this little story is that it can be anything you want. I have drifted off to sleep the last few nights imagining a few "what nexts" for this scenario.
Thanks for the note, precious.
Dinner with Snape - what a lovely (and yummy!) birthday present! Lucky, lucky Keladry. I love how much emotion and feeling you've packed into this little story.

Thank you, darlin'. I'm glad you picked up on the undercurrent of emotion!
I can't identify the feeling this one gives me. A touch of "mmm" (for the dinner to be), a bit of teehee at the interaction of Severus and Remus, and a dash of longing for Severus' situation and the time of year. Throw in a siren's song and I'm almost tearing up. It's just a lovely little snippet that's definitely going to sit with me for a long while. Beautifully done (as if you could do any less).

Awww! Thank you, my dear! Yes, poor Severus, all alone at Christmas, and on the run, to boot. I'm so glad you enjoyed it! Hope your holidays are lovely. Now I need to post some more Poison for you.
Gah!!!! There are so many great lines, I don't even know where to begin!!
"he jerked his head away as if touched by fire",
"Remus lifted a hand to his heart, as if to hold the loveliness more closely to him for an instant longer",
" The man stood, lifting her encased guitar, and offered a gloved hand to assist her to rise",
All of these are so nice I can't decide which I like most *L* The rest of your imagery is wonderful as well, from the Tube ride to the siren's tattered clothes and beloved guitar/case.
Bravo!

Oooh, you picked some of my favourites. I really liked the one of Remus holding the loveliness close to his heart. *sigh* Romantic, in the largest sense. And the image of Severus jerking away from the memory of Dumbledore. Thanks for the very perceptive reading, doll.
Lovely! I liked the byplay between Snape and Lupin--just how I imagine they would interact. But I have to quibble with Snape's disguise...a Snape without his trademark long locks is no Snape at all!
Response from Subversa (Author of Siren Song)
I guess that's the reason why he cut them off -- it is hard for anyone to knows him to imagine Snape without his hair to hide behind. Thanks for the note, my dear!
No, no obliviate!??
Response from Subversa (Author of Siren Song)
Aww! Maybe he didn't! It can be the way you want it to be, in your imagination...
Thank you for the note!
In view of the general lack of reviews, it comes to mind that I've faved this (ages ago) and never reviewed it (bad Scofffy). Not to be obvious, but I absolutely adore this story, my dear. It's beautiful and poignant, and I die every time I read it. Bravissima!
I could deffinately see him making an excuse like that. Very cute one-shot featuring your beta!
