I adore the world of HP.
Thanks for stopping by. I'm off to stir my cauldron.

SW, this was WONDERFUL! I like to see a strong Ron and your portrayal here showed that, while still making it a very sweet and tender moment. Thanks for sharing! ~Ruthie

I'm so happy that you've read and liked it. It's a little bittersweet to me as well.
nice ending...........and you were right, no sense in dragging up anything that would hurt people after so many years of being a secret. Better if everyone had nice memories of her. Great story.

Thanks so much. I agree about the nice memories. :)
I rarely read a Ron-centric story, but I did enjoy this one shot. I think you got his internal monaloge down quite well. It all sounded like Ron. Thanks!

I don't read them much either, so I have no idea why it appealed to me so much. Thank you for reading it!
Oh, Sun, this was wonderful. Such emotion, I love the moral dilemma presented to Ron: keep the decision or tell his dad and Bill. Such a shame his dad read the diary sometime before. Excellent story!

Thanks so much. I think the fact that Arthur read it and was handling it so well shows what a man he is. That's gotta be hard to take. I appreciate the read and the review. :)
The title was such a great play on words.Touching and sad, and I loved the ss/hg insertion.

Hey, thanks. I wondered if anyone would notice the title. Teehee.
I like the way you wrote it in that Arthur knew already, so neither he nor Ron were alone with the knowledge, and Ron's words at the end were somehow just right

Thanks for reading. I appreciate that. I hadn't planned on letting anyone else know, but then for some reason this came out. :)
I liked this story. Can you imagine just how different these stories would be if Molly and Arthur were not together? I figure almost every parent has something in their past that they did or said that they would prefer never to come to light. The Weasley's are supposed to be an average family (except for their adbundance of course) so it would be exceptable to believe this. Thanks for a quick story to help stir up my thoughts.

Definitely different. My mind is much the same, always wondering and thinking, "What if?" :) I appreciate the review and your thoughts. To be honest, I have to agree that everyone has "something" they'd rather keep hidden, self included.
I liked the reference to HG/SS as well :) I think you answered the prompt very nicely! No 'Molly the Town Trollop'. And I love how Ron admires his dad even more after knowing. Very bittersweet.

Gotta have the hg/ss, eh? Hehehe. Thanks so much. Right. I didn't want Molly to be a ho, just a torn woman. Been there, done that myself.
I would have done the same.? No use in dragging the dead through the mud.?
Response from Southern_Witch_69 (Author of Burrowed Secrets)
Same here. I'm keeping secrets now as a matter of fact. It just seems pointless. :)
This is nice, and I think you are right. This is the sort of thing that should remain a secret. Revealing it would only hurt everyone involved.
Response from Southern_Witch_69 (Author of Burrowed Secrets)
Yep! Thanks for reading. :)

Yep! Thanks for reading. :)
Unless there was a valid medical or social reason, I'd keep the secret, too. I also don't think Arthur was ever as clueless as Ron and Molly seemed to think--just kinder and more forgiving than most.
Response from Southern_Witch_69 (Author of Burrowed Secrets)
I definitely agree. Thank you for reading. :)
Wow. This is very powerful. I totally understand your reasons as to why Ron erased those parts of the diary. I don't know what I would do in a situation like that. At the same time, in RL, I'm glad that as Bill, I did discover what was missing. :-)
Response from Southern_Witch_69 (Author of Burrowed Secrets)
Yep, you know the other side of the coin. I'd guess this is for the best in this situation, though, but it would be interesting to see. :) thanks
