As with canon, I hate that Dumbledore really did die. JKR dashed our hopes for his truly being alive on one of her last interviews. I just hope that Harry comes to realize that this was a must and accepts Snape's help (if things were sort of forced like this). Thanks for posting. It's great.

I was sad about Dumbledore's 'real' death, too. If Peter Pettigrew could fake hist death... I would have loved to get him back, but on the other hand, 150 is old age, even for a wizard. I am convinced that this wasn't just cold-blooded murder, or at least I'd be very disappointed if it turns out that way.
I just have to say that I enjoy your writing, and I like how you've characterized Snape and Dumbledore here. I would like to think that this is how things actually did go behind the scenes. :)
