"She watched the way his sinuous hands added a touch of sugar to his espresso, stirring meditatively, as if he were adding ingredients to a simmering cauldron. " - I think this is my favourite line, it just brings me right into the scene!!
and the last two lines still give me shivers, 'phile. It's good stuff, and like all good writing, it leaves me wanting more!

--I thank you for review and kind words. I'm always conflicted when a reviewer lets me know they cried--gratified, in one sense, because I worked hard to include lots of emotions in the drabble, but also sorry
that I made you cry!
