Good, clear development.  There’s contrast between Draco and Hermione.  There’re indications of problems between Tonks and Remus, although I don’t know if the story will return to this.  I haven’t read HBP, but from spoilers, it’s a real stretch to imagine Draco welcomed back as Head Boy.  As a spy, he’s going to have to lurk and snoop.  No one is going to trust him.Given the enormity of Draco’s transgressions, I thought Hermione would glare at Draco in cold hatred rather than argue with him, but I’m oriented toward stories written for a different intended audience (older and more cynical readers).It ends with a cliffie—a classically constructed chapter.
