Reviews for The Subject of Love Actually
Love Actually isn't my favourite movie, it comes a close second to Sense and Sensibility.{Alan in a red coat *sigh*} I'm glad that Hermione has such good taste.
Funny and sweet, and Hermione`s devotion to the Quibbler is a gem, thank you!

Thank you! I quite enjoyed writing this. Though Rickman is ~not~ the Snape I envision, the allusion is just too delicious to pass up.
That was so much fun.

Glad you liked it! :-) Thanks for the review.
I thought the speech impediment comment was funny, because I do remember reading that somewhere. Good story :-)

I have just discovered you and think your amazing and fun and my long lost twin. Severus and Hermione are my passion, coffee is my life, Alan Rickman is a bonus. Love all you've done. Off to read some more of your stuf.....*skips off whistling*

Thank you! I have quite a few drabble series posted here, as well as my first fanfic ever ("Dark Roast") and my current WIP, "Sage." I appreciate the compliments, and coffee is indeed obsession-worthy. :-)

I love that movie and I love this fic. I read about Alan's speech impediment a while ago--works for me!

It works for me, too! Thanks for coming over to read some of my earlier work. :)

It's one of my favorites as well, and I couldn't resist a Severus Snape/Alan Rickman drabble... glad you liked it, dear! :-)
Bravo! Hilarious!

Oh, I think I actually had a conversation similar to this with my husband about this exact movie. Needless to say, I've taken to watching it when he isn't home just to avoid all the incessant questions! I was smiling the whole time I was reading. Good job, and yes, Mr. Rickman has a fabulous voice and is the most prominent actor in my video collection. Isn't that grand! :)

“Right. Rather strange, this obsession of yours with that actor.”“It’s the voice, Severus. So sexy.”“I have a sexy voice. He has a speech impediment.”These are killer lines, Lady Rhian! I must admit I haven't seen the movie, so some of the jokes are lost on me; however, the dialog is very smooth and flows nicely!

You haven't seen it?! *le gasp* You must rent it as soon as possible, darling. It's a lovely film! (glad you liked it)
i thought the lines sevvie boy said about AR were hilarious. i always have to lol when i see snape talking about the actor. the side convo about the quibbler was great, too!
Response from lady_rhian (Author of The Subject of Love Actually)
Thank you. :) I couldn't resist using the Alan Rickman reference - it's terribly cliche but it's just too good to refuse! So glad you enjoyed it.
I enjoyed your fic mainly because Love Actually is one of my fave movies of all time(perhaps due to Allan Rickman,Colin Firth and Hugh Grant!!!!!) Thank God for the limited jaw mobility!
Response from lady_rhian (Author of The Subject of Love Actually)
I must agree with you! Love Actually is just fantastic, and it seems like everyone loves the film. It's only natural that Hermione would like it too... ;)

I used to have a crush on Kevin Costner(Robinhood) but after finding out that dear Alan Rickman was the sheriff of Notingham I always fast forward it the parts with him only!Oh that voice is soo sexy even if he is sixty already!Another one of my faves is Sense and Sensibility-period Alan Rickman is super hot as a gentleman-sweet and wonderful!
“It’s the voice, Severus. So sexy.” “I have a sexy voice. He has a speech impediment.”
ROFLMAO - That is too perfect! Thank you for the laugh.
Response from lady_rhian (Author of The Subject of Love Actually)
You are very welcome. :) So glad you enjoyed it.
Really? It is a speech impediment? never has one been so sexy!
Response from lady_rhian (Author of The Subject of Love Actually)
Yes it is! You learn something new every day. :) Glad you liked it!
Ive been watching Love Actually ever December since it came out on DVD. Its such a great christmas movie. I cry every damn time. I heart Alan Rickman, Colin Furth, Hugh Grant, Liam Neilson...
Response from lady_rhian (Author of The Subject of Love Actually)
Oh, me too! I couldn't resist doing an Alan Rickman/Severus Snape piece, and this is one of my favorite films, so it made sense to do it with this movie. AR is admittedly *not* my mental image of Snape, but the voice - *dies.*
I laughed outloud reading this, hah hah. I think I read somewhere that the whole impediment Alan has is not true... Anyways, I adored Severus in this! :)
very funny! thanks
