I was originally an SS/HG shipper that then fell in love with HG/DM as well. I now read and write both. I also have some original fiction and poetry up here on TPP, and love getting feedback on everything.
I have faced some writer's block on my only multi-chaptered story, but I PROMISE nothing is abandoned.
I do love to write, and I love REVIEWS!!
Ah, last thing. I am NOT HBP compliant. And now that I'm updating this profile in November 07, I need to tell you I am NOT DH Compliant
Reviews for She Would Not Deny Him
Wow.
That was vicious and disturbing. A picture well painted and horrifying. Nicely done, although it may disturb my dreams for some time.
Wow, that was intense. You've come up with some really, REALLY scary ideas on how magic could be abused and shown how they'd play out. I'm not a DM/HG shipper, and I don't like darkfic - even though I read it occasionally - but this one is good enough that I wanted to comment. Very original, very scary stuff. Cat
Wow, I mean...wow! I never would have thought that would happen! Great job! I feel so bad for Hermione, drugged and tricked into marriage and 'happiness,' but great writing.~Jen
Wow... it's scary how mush he loves her to the point of insanity.
Ummm WOW! You're right, it's definitely not like the others but it's certainly powerful in its own rights. You've got the mood down pat and it doesn't waver at all. Very tense and taut with fear. From both of them. I may not put this one as a favorite, but YOU still are ^.~ I enjoy your writing very much and hope that you continue with wherever the muse may take you. 'Cos I'll give it a read!!
Hmmm ... very curious. It took me a minute to truly process the whole story after I read it. At first, I wondered if it was written correctly, but then it dawned on me, what it was. Then I decided that it was cleverly written.
Well this is fairly dark and twisted. Not that I mind! I am wondering how Draco convinces her to take the potions she brews? Probably lies. You should write more dark evilness. you do it well.
That is scary. Poor Hermione.
:)
wow, that was excellent. it really made me shiver. I don't know why Draco decided to become this way, but somehow it is understandable, because he always wanted to be like his father...Poor Hermione T.TGreat style of writing, keep it up!
This is excellent Dark!Draco and Honest!Hermione! You've woven their twisted relationship beautifully. Great job!
A fic doesn't have to be extremely in-your-face dark in order to be chilling, and you've just proven that. After all, what Draco does--beating her to a pulp and then robbing her of her mind (however temporarily) via the Imperius and then finally drugging her into submission is pretty scary stuff. I can't say I liked this fic, though it's for different reasons than you may think; I found it to be very well-written and I congratulate you for doing so well when stepping out of your usual style (I'm very fond of "Like the Muggles Do", by the way). But then, a story doesn't have to be likeable to be effective, and I think you've managed that here.
Very disturbing...intense...once I started reading, I couldn't take my eyes off it...
I did see one little thing that should be corrected, though. I’m out of her. Should read I'm out of here.

thank you darling. I will correct that immediately.Guess that's what beta's are for, spellcheck doesn't fix everything.

On that note, how is the next chapter of LtMD coming along?

*hides face* not too well, I fear.Between this little drabble and my entry into the ss/hg exchange on livejournal, ltmd has kinda been in the backseat. Because the exchange is a 'gift', i want that all finished and complete before i go back to concentrating on ltmd. But, if it makes a difference, i'm constantly jotting down little notes of ideas.

I understand..Just wanted to check with you about it.. Now, finish that gift..I know they've started posting..:D I read two, so far prior to posting since I'm one of those who Makes sure it works--not exactly validating, but letting Mugglegirl know that it is OK.
A very cool take on the dm/hg relationship. However chilling it might be, it was still a good read. It just shows what lengths some people will go to in order to have what they want. I thought that he might kill her to keep her from leaving. The title is very appropriate.
That was quite chilling, but very believable and well written. Poor Hermione, even existing as she is she isn't at peace, and Draco is so obsessed and controlling. Brrr.
wow very dark relationship but i liked it that it was differnet and that it felt like Malfoy
I actually could see Draco acting like that and being irrational. This was brilliant, even if it was a bit dark (as it was intended to be).
Oh I really liked this story just because love is not always pretty and sweet. Sometimes it is dark and disturbing. I don’t encourage this type of relationship but it is probably closer to reality than most fictions here. Look at the amount of domestic abuse cases that the police are called to. Those are only the ones we hear about, what about the others? Love can be many things depending on who it comes from including dark and terrible. I know this might frighten you but I am impressed with your ability to write the dark side. Do not think bad about yourself for exploring the badness, we all have that side within. If you deny it, you never know when it will raise its ugly head. Kudos for daring to write beyond the socially acceptible limitations.

I was just going through old reviews and came across yours and wanted to say that i do take your compliments as compliments. And i appreciate the kudos. I in no way encourage domestic abuse, and i hate when i see stories where hermione is abused and chooses to go back to her abuser. I've always thought she was too intelligent for that, Aside from that, I do think that Draco loves Hermione very much. Some might say that if he loved her, he wouldn't do this to her, but I think there are people who become so consumed by their love that they do crazy, horrible things.
