I always feel extremely strange when I'm writing these things, having never really been all that good at talking about myself. In any case, here are the basics: I'm a 41-year-old Canadian who started reading the Harry Potter books about twenty years (!) ago just to see what all the fuss was about. I wrote my first fanfic about a year later, and I've been semi-active in the fandom ever since. I am very musical; I play the bagpipes, I've played the violin since I was about nine years old and I sing with two choirs (a community choir I've been singing with since 1997 and a church choir I've been singing with since late 2008). Writing is also one of my many obsessions, and (much to my relief) the monstrous case of writer's block which grabbed me for a couple of years seems to be gradually letting go. Even so, should I submit any chaptered fics here, it's reasonable to assume that the updates will be pretty far apart even if they're actually finished before I start posting. It's not intentional; I'm just, at times, a little forgetful.

Interesting take on their relationship, and I like the religious/non-religious tie in (I did not read your a/n, so anything said regarding therein, I remain ignorant). Nicely done.

Thank you.
wow makes me wish ginny would "go off!"
This story is brilliant. I really enjoyed it. I like how she goes through each sin and determines how she's acted upon it (or intended to). Also, I loved Gabriel Byrne in "Stigmata" and also, he played the devil I think in something else. "End of Days" maybe? It seems that I associate him with tales like this, so it makes it all the more perfect that you mentioned it.Love certainly makes people do some pretty bad, uncharacteristic things at times. I've been there and done that.Nice work.

Thanks. I was a bit nervous about submitting this one--it sat complete and edited on my hard drive for a few days before I finally did it--because I wasn't sure if I was capable of writing decent angst. (I was afraid that there were more jokes in the story than I had realized, particularly since my sense of humour tends to be very dry and sometimes it gets the better of me.) Furthermore, although religion isn't the focus of this story, it's definitely present and people can be rather touchy about that sort of thing.
Anyway, thanks for the review.
