The poem's cute, although the rhythm's really off in places. While meter's a pain to write, it'd help if the lines had similar number of syllables. The 10th line (eventually etc.) is particularly off.

I wasn't trying to do anything other than make a rhyme. It's why I marked it as free-style poetry.
