Each Marauder is one of the Elements. Sort of prose, very short.

Reviews for Four Elements
Really good description and summing up of the marauders in an elemental context. I particularly liked your characterziation of Peter--it really rang true.

Sorry for the late response- I've been away for a while...(:Thank you so much for reading and reviewing! I must say that in retrospect, the paragraph about Peter is by far my favorite.
wow, just wow!!

Haha, Thank you my dear! I'm glad you liked it... after you told me you posted to this site, I said, "Well, why don't I try my luck? This site looks great!"So, thank for pointing a finger to this site and for reviewing:)
Excellent summary of their personalities fitted to the ancient 'elements of nature'. Am I right in supposing that this is from Harry's perspective? The part about James being forever out of reach gave me that impression...

Thank you very much!Well, about the prespective- I actually found myself thinking through either Remus or Sirius usually... I think I wrote Peter and Sirius from what I thought would be Remus' point of view, and James and Remus from Sirius'. I didn't feel like Harry had known them as well as he could- as well as they might have known each other. He would have never been this calm about Peter's "personality", and didn't know any of the others enough (not that I do, haha, this is all just speculation). But actually, you are correct that the part of "being out of reach" was inspired a lot by the feeling of closeness (because they are so alike) and yet the feeling of complete loss that Harry experiences in the book towards his father. Phew, I will stop ranting now:)Thanks again for your review!
Poetic and very insightful. Lovely.

Thank you very much! I spent a lot of time thinking about the concept, and I am glad you thought it was insightul.
I found this very interesting and I agree with your characterizations of the "Marauders". I think you've described them very well.
Should I suspect that you have a particular admiration for Remus?
Very enjoyable! Thanks for sharing your ideas.
Response from pixieismyname (Author of Four Elements)
Your suspicion is quite correct:)Both Remus and Sirius are my favourite characters. I think that Remus came out to be my "favourite" in this little fic because I was (and still am) a bit influenced by the amazing work of Lady Jaida, who seems to take a special liking to him.Thank you very much for all your kind words!
this is great
