I will tell you right off that I like the story. I intend to stick with it and see how it all works out. But, I had to stop reading at this point. One thing is confusing to me. How old is Andromeda? I thought I read she is six? The way she is written, she sounds like a three year old. The speech impediment, the characterization, the way “Herminny” (as well as the other characters) treats her, the thumb sucking, etc. A six year old just doesn't speak or act this way, sorry. This inconsistency breaks the flow of the story for me. It is like being jolted out of the story whenever Andromeda appears because she sounds much younger than you are portraying her. It is a bit incongruous. My feeling is to make Andromeda 3 years old. This would do a lot more to add credibility and believability about the igniting of Hermione’s maternal instincts. Three year olds are really engaging and charming while still being very dependent. Six year olds are less so. I think some kind of correction needs to be made in regards to the character Andromeda. I feel a simple editing fix of adjusting the timeline would work really well. This way you wouldn’t have to change entire bits of story and dialogue. If you just change when she was born, that could do it. It would also make Samantha’s death even more poignant, having been a mother so briefly and then losing everything. Or am I just wrong on this? I would be interested on hearing your thoughts. I will read on. Cheers, Kat

I was so happy to see another chapter.  Things are moving along rather nicely indeed.I'm thinking the one who will have the hardest time though is Severus.  It seems he might be the one to think he is disrespecting the memory of his wife if he is with Hermione, as well as thinking it might be unfair to Hermione that he's attracted to her because she reminds him of his wife.Poor Severus.  But hopefully he'll figure things out fast!

I could just picture Andromeda screaming that she wanted Hermioen to be her mummy and the look on Severus' face. Poor man - he seems to be doing better dealing with his wife's death. I think his dream (I can't quite remember if it was a dream, or if he was awake) where he talked with his wife helped. And having Hermione around helps. You're doing a wonderful job. I do hope you update again really soon!

Wow.This is such an amazing story. Normally I don't really like stories where Hermione or Severus have kids with another person. I try to read them and just can't get into them. But this story...it's amazing. It's so sad, but so hopeful. Did Samantha know about Hermione's feelings for her husband? Hermione's a Gryffindor, so she wouldn't try anything. This story is wonderful - well written, heartbreaking, and like I said, somehow hopeful. I can't wait to read more, and as long as Update Notices are posted on WIKTT (TPP doesn't send Update E-mails) then I'll continue to read it. I think I've rambled enough now. Please update again soon!
