Harry left Hermione behind when the time for defeating Voldemort came. She was furious with her best friend, but she found comfort and something unexpected in the eyes of another best friend.

Hi everyone, first of all thank you for taking your time for reading my fan fics, I really appreciate it?
I live in Mexico and work in Advertising Research. I love my work, it suits my curiosity and that tendency I have of knowing everything.
I?m a huge fan of Harry Potter books. Hermione is my favourite character and when a friend introduced me to fan fiction I found HG/SS pairing and I just loved the idea.
Enjoy my stories and feel free to review, in fact, please review and let me know if you like them. Any kind of critics will be welcome, they help me to improve.
Special thanks to Melanie who did the lovely image in this page. This is part of a larger picture she did for my story ?We don?t say goodbye?.
Just in case you were wondering, neither How to Make Snape Happy in ten Steps or the Pink Swans saga had been abandoned. They have only been neglected by my muse, and ignored by my RL. My apoligies to all of you that have been following those stories.
Have a nice day.

You've done an excellent job with this story. The way you've developed the characters makes it easy to believe that Neville is in love with Hermione. And, while it's more difficult to accept that Hermione could be in love with Neville, you've made it seem quite plausible.
Great work!

Thanks, your review was really nice. I do believe there's a special fondness between them, and Neville could posibly have an infatuation with her or even love her. On the other hand, I think that although Hermione is not in love with him, she might want to give it a chance.
Thanks for posting this. It's very sweet, and I think that you portrayed Hermione's surprise and Neville's shyness well.

Thanks, hon. It's my pleasure and an honour to have my fics here. Of course, most of them would have never been what they are without you, my evil beta.
hey Lore, This was very sweet, of course Neville is such a sweetie. Nice job matching the pair

Thanks, Mel. Not my usual pairing, but I'm quite pleased with the result of the challenge.
I think that what I like most about this is the fact that it brings up a major point that JKR left out. There were 2 children who could have fulfilled that prophecy, and Moldy Butt was just anal enough to try taking out both just to be certain he got the right one, right?
I like the slow realization, and then acceptance, that crossed through Hermiones emotions, as well as the welcome to a future she gave him before the attack began. Talk about giving the kid a reason to live.
Thanks for sharing.
I loved this story!!!!!
Very sweet... though I would like to read the end of it.
I find it logical that Neville loves Hermione since she had always been kind to him.
Thank you for another lovely fan fic.
Hugs for you!!!!
Thank you for writing such a sweet story for a very rare pairing. One thing which has always confunded me is the fact that many who write this pairing often commented that they can`t actually see Hermione and Neville together (asmost of the time, the story was an exercise in writing something different for them). I take an altogether contrary stance.
From my POV, there is no more suitable person in the HP-verse for Hermione than Neville. He seems to be the only one who has always accepted Hermione for who she is, and he is also the only somewhat prominent male character in the HP world who is at the same time courageous, honest AND nice. His strength of character is simply astounding. Best of all, he mostly brings out Hermione`s best instead of her worst (which is the reason I still can`t fathom the canon-pairing for Hermione).
So, thank you!
