Ginny Weasley is not getting along with her mother. She?s tired of her mother interfering on everything she says. Meanwhile, Molly Weasley is fed up with her daughter?s attitude. When Molly is accidentally hit by a spell that makes her forget who she is, everything changes. Instead of Molly being the mother, Ginny is forced to watch over and teach Molly. Can their relationship survive? Will this event make their relationship stronger, or will it just make things turn to bad or worse? Written in response to Mugglenet Fanfiction?s Molly Weasley one-shot challenge.

Reviews for A Mother's Love
i read this three years later and it still brought a tear to my eye
Oh, man. That's so sad.
Hey, great story. A few little things I thought seemed odd though.

“STOP TELLING ME WHAT TO DO!” Molly screamed back with an equal harshness. Though she tried to conceal it, tears were forming in her eyes, blurring the soft expression she usually had in her warm brown eyes.

I can't see Molly telling her daughter to stop telling her what to do. Especially as an Adult. Also, Ginny tells Molly that Ron is friends with Harry Potter, but Molly was married to Arthur and already had six kids when Harry Potter became famous, so it doesn't make sense that she wouldn't recognize her husband if she recognizes the name Harry Potter.

Other than that I really liked it, but it was a sad ending, very abrupt too I thought. Still, just my opinion. I liked the idea though, and it was well written. ^_^
Poor Molly! I just wanted to tell Ginny to grow up! LOL Harry has to save the world--he can't worry about her feelings just now.I hope you write at least one more and resolve them

. I understand about telling Ginny to grow up, because I often think the same thing. I'm not a huge Harry/Ginny shipper (Harry/Luna all the way!) and I think he's got to stop worrying about her. I'm not writing a second chapter because I want it to be like one of those horrible short stories they make us read in language arts class, where the story ends at the climax and you actually have to think about what you think may happen... Anyway, thanks for the review!
Are you certain that this is a one shot? It begs for a second chapter. I hope to see one soon. Ginny is quite angry with the world when it's all Harry's fault, mostly. I almost want to say, "Serves you right," but I feel a little sorry for her near the end. Poor Molly.

This is definitely a one-shot. I meant to leave it up in the air. I wrote this story with the intent of making people think. The reason the ending is so abrupt is because I wrote it for a one-shot competition on another site, and was coming close to missing the deadline. I usually write fics taking place in Lily and James's time and I'm very unaccustomed to writing in the Weasleys and other characters. I think a second chapter would ruin the effects of the first chapter. Thanks for the review.
