Yikes! She was warned... and yes, why on earth would Hermione Granger do what she was told when her curiosity is in full (moon) control--ha! Seriously though 'she heard labored footsteps coming straight at her. Her heart caught in her throat as she saw him.'--uff! It just captures the sadnes, horror of the reality of Remus' 'condition', and something beyond either's control happening--great chapter!

I feel both's frustration... Hmm... Both are in desperate need to understand what the other is going through... And both have many barriers, both literal ones and pyschological ones, standing in the way. And both Hermione and Remus are very, lovably stubborn--just the way we like them to be
Frustration and tension are building, who will be the first to give in? Heeee! Looking forward to more of this tale!<3

Unusual beginning. I wonder where the story would have gone if there was more.
Oh, fantastic scenario--poor Hermione! Bloody Dolohov... Love the fast-paced dynamics between Remus and Hermione, and the flash of Remus' werewolf tones reminding Hermione that he definitely has an edge... Know she has been frightened by his energy... But who better to take care of her than a former Dark Arts teacher? Maybe once she can calm down a bit, she can realize that she's in the care of someone who can help her retrieve her magic ... and who is determined to protect and care for her. Love this story, articcat--can't wait for more!

Dolohov--*spitting* ... Uff! Must read on... Love how Remus gave his support to Hermione. But omg, if that spell Dolohov whammied Hermione with is what I think it is... not good at all
