Reviews for It’s In the Cards
Wonderful usage of MuseAmusant's prompts. One is drawn into Parvati's tent with Lucius, keen observations and information exchanged, then and exquisite fairytale spell is put on the reader when Lucius reads the card as well as interaction following--lovely, spellbinding work! And let it not be said that Lucius isn't capable of living in the moment, in spite of the 'ancient fear of being hunted', spouses, or other possible deterrents, etc. Wonderful one-shot and love the pairing!

Most of the effort for the drabble went into searching web sites about tarot cards. The internet lets anyone appear knowledgeable. It didn't take long to come up with Uncle Malfoy's quip: enough with the spiritual development already. The reading provides a major part of the background and dynamic.Lucius is acting out the tarot card - the quintessential knight on a white horse, although this time, it is going to be a golden skinned mount with a black mane. Thanks for the detailed commentary.
Lucius really is a most delightful cad.

Thanks. It was an attempt to depict a loveable rogue and someone who responded to him.
What an interesting pairing! I loved your characterization of Lucius! Xx

Thanks. This was a challenge of having something personal - no offer of gold trinkets for Parvati - while keeping them in character.
