I picked up the Harry Potter fandom around the time the first movie came out and began writing fanfic early 2005 after discovering the adult online community. I identify most closely with the Slytherins and you will see my taste in writing lends me to writing about Slytherins more often than not. In addition to fanfiction, I also make fanvids on the Harry Potter fandom. I'm a Perfect Imagination acredited beta and am willing to help authors. My main 'ship interests are Snape/OC (never really got into the SS/HG pairing) and LM/any female (with HG as a new favorite). I have dabbled in RL/OC and RL/NT and am okay with those pairings. I generally shy away from slash, just not my thing. For updates on my writing, check out my Live Journal

What an interesting read! I loved the tension between Moony and Remus!

Thanks. He really is two people in this story, isn't he? It just seems so natural that the moon would affect his behavior even outside of transformation.
Loved this depiction of Remus slowly, but surely, losing control... absolutely! Poor Sarah... so true to real life... So in agreement with you about there being things in his past, beyond his control, that would have affected why he was soooo reserved and hesitant towards Tonks and deeply reluctant to ever chance having a go at a 'normal' relationship... Ahhhrg! It's all so human and *tragic*--thank you for sharing, great one-shot, powerful and sad. Looking forward to more of your work, and especially anything involving Remus

Thank you for your review. I just felt that JKR only scratched the surface of what being a werewolf was and that there had to be something that had made him so reclusive other than the stigma. It was painful to write, but fell so necessary to fill out his character. I do have several other older fics featuring Remus, 4 or 5 I think, so if you haven't checked them out, you have some new Remus fic to read. And I have convinced the muses we need to do something nice for Remus after putting him through the wringer, so hopefully that will be coming in the near term (I'm going AU, to heck with JKR killing him at Hogwarts LOL) as they like to have a couple of different projects to bounce between to keep them from getting bored.
Oh dear! Well, something like this was bound to happen at some point. He doesn't knaow what he is doing when he is under the spell of the moon. Also, one could say that it its into canon. I mean, if he has done something like this, no wonder he won't allow himself to go near Tonks. He's afraid he'll hurt her. Well done. You handled this delicate matter very well.

Thank you for your review. It was his reticence with Tonks that first prompted my twisted muses this way. Sometimes they get that way. Now I need them to find something fluffy for poor Remus
