The Draco/Astoria/Lucius banner was a gift to me by the one and only star_girl, and the Nagini and Severus Tale one by the lovely apisa_b The truly unique and rare gem Juniperus made the wonderful & inspirational The Twists of Fate banner, the One Riddle More, The Verboten One and 10th Anniversary one--I am so honoured! A bit creepy....but stunningly beautiful! May I request a sequel, please?

Thank you so much for giving this a read and for the feedback, truly appreciate it! Glad to know what is coming across (sorry about the creepiness but it was difficult to write about Voldy with the prompts given and not have that influencing the dynamics between these two...) Again thank you for your kindness, and I definitely have a sequel in mind once I finish a few other w.i.p.s--thanks!

Well, the creepiness adds to the beauty of this story!
Thank you so much for considering a sequel. This is too good a plot to come to an end just like that..
Very creepy, it never did make sense to me that Ginny did not appear to have any after effects from the diary

, thank you so much for reading this Dark twist of a tale, based on the prompts I was given, etc. Truly appreciate you reading and taking the time to leave feedback--yes, I agree absolutely about Ginny--the thought of her being possessed for an entire school year by such a horrid and cruel entitiy when she was so young and impressionable--wanted to explore that a bit in a particular way--thank you again!
I presume this is a one-off, yes? But such a foundation could easily become much more - as I dearly wish it would. The more HP ff I have read, the more I find myself drawn to darker tales, such as this. The duality of the revenant imprint retaining a yet viable connection to young woman it had once enthralled and ensorceled -- not even LV understands he is just as ensnared as she! Delicious, dark, tension-filled. Wonderful.

, for giving this dark fic a read and for the supportive feedback--truly appreciate it! I have a longer original outline of this story (for a multi-chaptered fic) 'on the shelf', but at the time I was participating in this festival, I went ahead and cut it down/composed it to suit the DL one-shot festival--I'd have loved to flesh it out more (as I feel that the LV and Ginny connection/story, even in canon, contains/offers so much). Thank you for confirming that the duality came across as intended--really means a lot to me. Yes, I was thinking since LV pushed magic beyond what was known, even he would fall victim to the *unknown*, etc. Again, thank you for the encouragement!
Oh Giny what have you done.
Loved this dark story with Lord V (Tom) and Giny .
Thanks for writing. Would be nice to see a sequel re the outcome of this trist. Thanks for writing and sharing with us.

Hello, Wildcard! Thank you so much for reading this and your lovely feedback--truly appreciate it! I know it's not everyone's, um, cup of tea, shall we say? So thank you for reading a rare pair. I know, poor Ginny and that damn diary... and Voldy still being *attached*--thank you again, Wildcard!xxxWildcard's response: Oh, so happy you liked my review to your story. I would say it is my cuppa tea lol. So if you write more I shall read
A tale of duality and opposition.
Ginny summons Tom, her first confident, even though she knows what he has become. Tom responds to Ginny, his last human contact, even though it contradicts what he is trying to become. Both captured part of the other when they were both alone or isolated, not treated with the respect they believed they deserved.
She longs for the boy who offered her friendship, but it was a boy with a dark core who betrayed her and who is now a cruel being. He arrives thinking she is still a silly girl, but he meets a grown witch.
He summons her to eliminate her, but he bonds deeper with her. He promises her freedom from each other, but they become more attached.
A well-written tale that is deeper and more complex than this review indicates.

Thank you so much for reading and your review and feedback--And truly appreciate you confirming that what I was trying to depict did come across--I do feel everyone 'deals' with his/her own dualism as an inherent aspect of being human, and in my muddled way was trying to show how perhaps Ginny objectively knows what Tom became but subjectively is inclined to, her own intimate need, which in a moment of time has existed as a separate intimate happening, propelling her forward when she is in a private space, and even Voldemort has phases when his own suppressed 'other part' is evoked, beyond what is known to him. I wanted both to experience something still unique, singularly between them, etc., that neither, perhaps, could have predicted, etc., but would entail their past history as the prompt requests had asked for.Thank you again for the feedback--truly appreciate it!
Though Harry destroyed the diary's properties as a horcrux, it must have been impossible to remove that piece of Tom Riddle that remained. Poor Ginny - she met Voldemort so young, she'll always be under his thrall. What a chilling event in poor Ginny Weasley's life! Thanks for sharing, Nag.

Thank you for the read and thoughtful feedback--truly appreciate it! When I reveived the prompts, it just reinforced the notion that's bothered me how she could be possessed, basically, by a nasty Dark Lord like Voldy for an entire school year and then it never effected/affected her again--she became the perfect school sweetheart, eventually, for Harry, wife & mom and the HEA ( I know, I know--it's Harry's story, not hers, but...--LOL!) Thank you again for gritting your teeth and reading this dark thingy!xxx
You know, the books irritate me in the way Ginny's story seems to end after the diary is destroyed. Surely that sort of bond runs too deep to simply forget? This is a chilling, yet compelling, version of what could easily have happened...There is a lovely dreamlike quality to this piece. Me likey!

Thank you for the read and the thoughtful feedback! Absoutely agree about the books and Ginny's sub-plot storyline--I know it's Harry's story (LOL!), but his future wife's storyline went from one extreme to the other (possessed by a great nasty Dark Lord to being the perfect school sweetheart with seemingly no baggage) When I received the prompts, I wanted to try to convey a bit of a (half) dreamlike quality to 'soften' the horridness of Voldy, so thank you for affirming that some of that came across. Thanks again, truly appreciate it!
It's an interesting thought. I was distracted once or twice by what seemed to be missing words. The sentences ended up making sense without them, but I had to reread them a few times to catch the drift. The whole of it had a dream like quality, as though I were watching the story unfold through a fog. I love your vocabulary.

Thank you for the read and thoughtful feedback! My apologies for the missing words and thank you for pointing that out--text has been edited again:-) When I received the prompts, I wanted to try to make the one-shot (half) dream like, so thank you for affirming that some of that came across as intended. Thank you again !
