I picked up the Harry Potter fandom around the time the first movie came out and began writing fanfic early 2005 after discovering the adult online community. I identify most closely with the Slytherins and you will see my taste in writing lends me to writing about Slytherins more often than not. In addition to fanfiction, I also make fanvids on the Harry Potter fandom. I'm a Perfect Imagination acredited beta and am willing to help authors. My main 'ship interests are Snape/OC (never really got into the SS/HG pairing) and LM/any female (with HG as a new favorite). I have dabbled in RL/OC and RL/NT and am okay with those pairings. I generally shy away from slash, just not my thing. For updates on my writing, check out my Live Journal
Reviews for Familiars Drabbles
This was fun. I like Mrs. Norris thinking she is all high and mighty, and Errol wanting to lose the mail to make a point, and Fang being afraid of the Forbidden Forest, and so many other things.

Thank you. I'm glad you enjoyed them. Errol was a lot of fun because I got to extrapolate so much. I had two cats, so 'queen of the castle' is definitely the type of cat arrogance I'm used to dealing with. These were just a ton of fun to write and I'm glad folks are enjoying them. Thanks for your review. :)

Thank you, it is the end of a long, bad day, and you made me smile.

I really liked the 'voices' you gave to the familiars, from Nagini's relishing the tilt at power to Errol thinking that losing the mail might derive some more appreciation. But it is, for me, the polar emotions between laughing at Fred and George throwing Ginny's Pygmy Puff from a height, to the ultimate grief of Fawkes, left behind, but choosing his own moment to signal his own mortality. The grief in those few words that Fawkes thinks, stand out most poignantly.

I'm glad you enjoyed this. It was fun going into the heads of the familiars. The pygmy puff one came to me because I wanted to end on something lighthearted. The Fawkes one just flowed so easily when I wrote it. I always thought there was something really special about phoenixes and I liked the idea that his choosing a wizard was like some animals choosing a mate for life.Thank you for your review.
