I picked up the Harry Potter fandom around the time the first movie came out and began writing fanfic early 2005 after discovering the adult online community. I identify most closely with the Slytherins and you will see my taste in writing lends me to writing about Slytherins more often than not. In addition to fanfiction, I also make fanvids on the Harry Potter fandom. I'm a Perfect Imagination acredited beta and am willing to help authors. My main 'ship interests are Snape/OC (never really got into the SS/HG pairing) and LM/any female (with HG as a new favorite). I have dabbled in RL/OC and RL/NT and am okay with those pairings. I generally shy away from slash, just not my thing. For updates on my writing, check out my Live Journal

Thank you this is how it should be, with Severus healed and taken to safety.

I know. This is really how it should have been, isn't it? Thanks for your review.

A nice take on the final battle. Snape really deserves that it be told from his POV. And I liked how Dumbledore rewarded Snape's loyalty by 'sending' Fawkes. A good idea!As for a second chapter? I don't know. Somehow this is complete in itself, but on the other hand I'd really like to know what happens to Snape next. Does he find peace without Felix? Will he vanish from wizarding world?

I'm glad you liked it. There was just so much about poor Snape the pawn that we didn't know until the end. And when I had the epiphany about Fawkes coming for him, I just knew I had to write this. And muses have been on the fence about leaving Severus' fate shrouded in mystery and revealing that mystery.

With all the twists in this short time span, it's no wonder that Felix has hard times convincing Severus that everything was just as it should be. Yes, please do tell us what place Fawkes (and Felix, I'm sure) have in mind for the most misunderstood and so unhappy wizard!

Response from phoenix (Author of Felix Felicis)

Thank you. This one was difficult to write to involve Felix as a character because there were so many twists. But just as Harry had to see Hagrid to get the memory from Slughorn, Felix needed Severus to take a circuitous path to getting his information to Harry. The muses are still pondering revealing Severus' fate but thanks for the vote of more. Might make them more likely to give it up. LOL

Why is there a question-mark behind TBC? Surely it is not a question to continue this story - please do.

Response from phoenix (Author of Felix Felicis)

I'm glad you liked it and wanted to see more. We're still unfogging that future. :)

Who

Yes, I like Felix as a character. You have really done 'him' justice.

Thank you. I really have to thank my beta, beaweasley2, for helping me realize that he needed to be more of a character than it was. That one simple change really helped out the story immensely.
