Wonderfully evil Snape-moment, there. I'm looking forward to the next chapter. :)

Well, I'm not sure if he was so much evil as he was just angry and perhaps a little petulant. But they've finally talked now, which is a big step, even if it didn't work out as Ron had hoped. The next chapter is in the queue : ) Thank you for reading and reviewing!

It can be REALLY hard to say. ^_^
Response from ks51689 (Author of Soul Searching)
I'm sure both Severus and Hermione would agree with that lol. But now that it's all out in the open... well, we'll see. Thanks for reading and reviewing : )

I'm usually skeptical about stories that have interfering deities, but this story has caught my attention. I'm really curious to know what happened between Hermione and Severus. It sounds like a romance gone bad. Or more on the professional lines, but I can't picture Severus taking credit for someone else's work.

Poor Ron, now he has to get someone to believe him. :)
Response from ks51689 (Author of Soul Searching)
He does find himself in quite a pickle, and it may get a little worse before it gets better.... And that's all I can say lol. Thank you for reading and revieiwing : )

All very mysterious. What happened between Hermione and Snape? What's up with Ron? Why is Harry so oblivious? :D
Response from ks51689 (Author of Soul Searching)
All will be revealed in good time... (well, maybe not the Harry thing lol). Thanks for reading and reviewing : )

I never thought I'd say this, but poor Ron, I can't help wondering, if it is Hermione, he's pining for, or is there someone else.

All will be revealed.... : ) Unfortunately, I think that's all I can say for now without giving away too much lol. Thank you for reading and reviewing!

Bay-colored eyes? What color are bay-colored eyes? Traditionally, the rule is that descriptions of Hermione’s hair and eyes always must involve food or alcoholic beverages: chocolate or cinnamon or honey or whiskey. And it’s always sweet food. We never read of her eyes being the color of warm roast beef gravy and her hair like a stream of dark ale. Bay leaves, however, would be green, which is Harry, not Hermione, and his eyes are always gems rather than food. I also have to wonder what makes eye color relevant at this point, whether it’s cognac-colored or good old brown.
Response from ks51689 (Author of Soul Searching)
Thank you for your note. Bay can also be used to refer to the reddish-brown color of a horse. Since Hermione is not a horse, it's still wrong, however, not so wrong that it implied that her eyes were green. Of course, as you pointed out, her eye color isn't relevant to the plot at all (a little spoiler for you lol) so I guess it doesn't matter. However, to reply to your concern, I did consider using the color of warm roast beef gravy to describe Hermione's eyes, but I thought it might have been overused. Silly me
Response from Very Small Prophet (Reviewer)
Bay-horse color did occur to me, but to my mind that's more red than brown, and red eyes are for Tommy Riddle. Brown is really quite a lovely color for both hair and eyes and doesn't need embellishment. (No roast beef gravy? How about graham crackers? Whole wheat-toast? A baked potato?)

I enjoyed this a lot when it was posted in the exchange - the idea of Krishna playing to a tormented Ron is lots of fun. Even more fun, I can't remember how this ends, so I'll get to enjoy it all over again!

So many tantalizing and intriguing tidbits you've packed into these two chapters. I know I've read this already but it's seems as fresh and new as the first time.
I left a few comments on FF but I had to chime in here and let you know I loved this story.
