I picked up the Harry Potter fandom around the time the first movie came out and began writing fanfic early 2005 after discovering the adult online community. I identify most closely with the Slytherins and you will see my taste in writing lends me to writing about Slytherins more often than not. In addition to fanfiction, I also make fanvids on the Harry Potter fandom. I'm a Perfect Imagination acredited beta and am willing to help authors. My main 'ship interests are Snape/OC (never really got into the SS/HG pairing) and LM/any female (with HG as a new favorite). I have dabbled in RL/OC and RL/NT and am okay with those pairings. I generally shy away from slash, just not my thing. For updates on my writing, check out my Live Journal

This is my OTP, and I don't know how I missed this one! Thank you for sharing such a sweet and believable story.
awh, this was absolutely wonderful. A perfect post-war fic featuring one of my favorite couples. Thank you ever so much for sharing this! :D xx
Really the only person I can never see Hermione with is Ron, it just makes no sense at all to me. I love Harry's reaction to the news, a true friend in all ways.

Thanks for your review. I so agree about Hermione and Ron. It seems to appeal to teens, but most adults go 'huh?' Granted we don't know a ton about Tonks, but to me Hermione/Remus makes more sense than that. Of course JKR squashed that whole idea, but that's what AUs are for, right? And Remus's survival is much easier to include with minimal changes to canon unlike having Severus survive the great big snake. And yes, Harry's reaction was great. It really was the reaction of a true friend who asks a few questions, but doesn't get judgmental. I imagine Ron's will start with something along the lines of 'Are you mental?' and go downhill from there.

How sweet they are together. I too have Hermione and Lupin as a favourite couple - his wisdom can temper her righteousness.I like the life you gave him here. So much better than dying at Hogwarts. (And definitely better than Tonks. Whatever did he see in her?)

Thank you. I really do think they would complement each other well. I always wondered what he would see in Tonks. I mean the picture we get painted of her is someone very immature. I mean she's changing noses and hair color to entertain a bunch of teenagers. I understand in war there need to be casualties, but I was really ticked at Jo for killing off Remus and Severus - both deserved so much more than death, even if it was as heroes.

First, I love that even though Tonks is gone, and Remus (through no fault of his own) cannot support his family, Andromeda takes him in and they have a happy existence.I'm glad her idea passed with flying colors, although, it's Hermione ... was there ever any doubt?I loved how excited they were after the first kiss to get out of there and get on with it, like a couple of teenagers, all desperation and hormones. While it was not full moon, the wolf still lurked inside, and these animal passions partially awoke it. Yowze! Good for you, Hermione, lol.I really liked Harry's reaction. He is her good friend, so of course he is going to support her in the things that are important in her life. But also, I do think it would take a bit of getting used to on his part. I'm glad he was equal parts happy and reserved. This is not a couple that I typically like together, but their tentative relationship worked for me. They are certainly not two who I would expect to just jump into bed without building a good foundation first, and you've given them that. Very nicely done.

Thank you for the wonderful review. I can't recall if this was mentioned in the notes, but this was for a Summer Smut exchange on LiveJournal. While I have nothing against pure smut, I do like to have some build up of a relationship if it's for characters I don't think would do a one off shag (which applies for these two as you said). Remus' death is another one that really gets to me. After all he did for the Order, who better could there be to speak to how the Ministry created its werewolf problem with how they were treated. Anyway, I don't need to rant about that here. LOL Glad you enjoyed the story. I really had fun writing a pair that is very unusual for me.

That was very sweet. These two are my OTP (don't tell the HGSS people), and you brought them to life.

LOL No worries on telling the SS/HG people. I actually prefer LM/HG for some odd reason, though I can see her with any of the older adults. :) I'm glad you enjoyed this story. For something a little steamier with the two of them, try 'Insomnia', though there is some RL/NT and voyuerism in it.

Oh, yes! Perfect! A perfect Hermione & Remus tale--could absolutely see it happening for all of the reasons given *happy dance* "I love him for who he is: a kind, gentle man. Can you accept that?” Absolutely! Love it & can't get enough of *Lupin love* *waggling eyebrows* -- Thank you for keeping the fires *burning*

I thought you would love this one after your previous reviews to 'Werewolves & Serpents'. I firmly hold that this is what Remus was meant to do with his life, not get senselessly killed at Hogwarts. With his death JKR really killed off the best chance for the reform of the treatment of werewolves. Remus is so much more the type I see Hermione with - well, she just strikes me as the type who is so mature that she would be drawn to an older man since guys don't seem to really get mature until around 30 (though there are exceptions, there was no evidence Ron was going to be more than a man-child for years to come).
