Reviews for Friendship's Heavy Burden
Lucius is right this time, I think. Severus deserves to be freed from Lily, even though one can argue whether her treatment of him was bad. I'm not decided on that matter. I think they both had faults. Well-written and well-spotted. And thank you for showing Lucius as a friend. It suite him.
Lucius really is a very good friend to Severus here. It's very hard to watch a close friend struggle for years about something and deny himself any right to heal and move on with his life.
Very realistic, and I thank you for sharing it with us.

It is a universally accepted truth that stories starting with a Jane-Austen-quote are worth reading. Your story is no exception. I think you caught the possible path to Severus' healing perfectly, thank you!
PS: I started reading hp-fanfiction because of a crossover posted at a JA-site where Charlotte Lucas was paired with our favourite Potions Master.
I love the friendship between Lucius and Severus here, and the honest and genuine concern Lucius has for his friend.
Yes, it is time for Severus to stop feeling undeserving and worthless, and I'm so glad Lucius managed to stir him in that direction.
Severus actually might be surprised how many witches will think him a very eligible wizard ;)
Wonderful story!
I love it when Severus survives and Lucius isn't a complete prat, but an actual decent friend. Very well done to show how surviving might have scarred Severus.
I typically don't like Lucius as I don't think he has many redemptive qualities. However, you've shown here that despite any bad choices he's made, he is a loyal and caring friend. This was nice.
Yes! I love this; I really like the way you've captured the characters. I can easily see how a Slytherin might make a great therapist; they do seem to understand how people's minds work. I would love to see more of this, or just more of your work in general. Thank you for sharing it with us.
