Lucius Malfoy needs to get out more, but since Narcissa left him, he hasn't been motivated. His one consolation to being part of society has been a weekly dinner out. At first it was just for the food, but later it became about something far more different. What happens when he has a chance to confront the object of his infatuation?

I picked up the Harry Potter fandom around the time the first movie came out and began writing fanfic early 2005 after discovering the adult online community. I identify most closely with the Slytherins and you will see my taste in writing lends me to writing about Slytherins more often than not. In addition to fanfiction, I also make fanvids on the Harry Potter fandom. I'm a Perfect Imagination acredited beta and am willing to help authors. My main 'ship interests are Snape/OC (never really got into the SS/HG pairing) and LM/any female (with HG as a new favorite). I have dabbled in RL/OC and RL/NT and am okay with those pairings. I'm so glad you enjoyed it. I really enjoyed writing this having Lucius brooding over being lonely, realizing he's attracted to someone he shouldn't be and having Hermione do something so utterly impulsive.

Glad you loved it. I thought it was a deliciously fun way to get these characters together and the spontaneity of it all was almost OOC and fun.

Oh, yes he is. I really have to thank the casting department for choosing Jason Isaacs as Lucius. I can think of no one more perfect for that role. It makes fanfic so much more fun.

Wonderful little story filled with emotional depth. I honestly wish that this was just a chapter, because it would be fascinating to see how you develop their characters more in league with thier relashionship and the outside world. Well, if you decide to write more, know that you have me hooked! Well done.

This was done for an exchange and time caught up with me so I was feeling a bit pressured to 'conclude' the story, but I agree it is a bit open ended and it could be a ton of fun seeing how her friends react to her hookup. And his for that matter. Oh, the muses are intrigued to start work on another chapter. LOL
