Wow! I can just barely remember the original theme song this is based on. I can't quite decide whether to laugh or cry. Poor Snape!

! When I wrote this poem, I tried to imagine how I would feel if I had to return back to Voldemort after more than a decade away from his rotten highness, the Dark Lord of Destruction. If I was Snape I surely wouldn't have wanted to go back and be controlled by a meglomaniac; that's why I always wondered about Snape's reaction right after Dumbledore asked him if he was "ready and prepared"...especially since Snape's eyes "glittered strangely" when Harry was looking at him.
