Very nice. I always imagined they had a pretty good friendship with a bit of friendly rivalry and this is a wonderful way to show that.

Thanks! I can just see the two of them bickering and snarking and yet having a real regard underneath. Thanks for commenting; I always appreciate reviews.~~Kelly

I like! Granted, it's a bit odd to think of a pairing between a teacher and a former student when the teacher is Minerva and the student is Severus -- even when that pairing is more along the lines of "friends-with-benefits" -- but I absolutely love the very sneaky way in which Severus manages to do an end-run around Minerva's typically Gryffindor traits and convinces her to accept care as well as give it! Slytherins may be rather underhanded by nature, but it's a little too simplistic and prejudicial to assume that they must all be arrogant monsters who think of nothing but themselves.

Thanks for reading! Glad you liked it. It's true, they're rather an unusual pairing, but if you can get past the former-student thing, I think they have a lot in comon. And I definitely agree about the Slytherins; canon paints them in far too simple and limited terms.~~Kelly

I suspect that if word ever leaks out about his skills with toddies and such, there will be a rash of colds among the women (and certain of the men) of Hogwarts - all hoping for their own house call!! This was great fun - I always enjoy your ventures into the "kinder, gentler" aspects of SS & MM !! Oh and BTW, yes, please, do schedule my appointment !!

Oh, I definitely feel a cold coming on myself! Thanks for commenting. And I've put you on the appointment book /g/.~~Kelly

Oh thats rich! I expect Severus has never suffered through a cold alone. AFter all men are known for immediately seeking medical attention after all. Ha. Still I am glad Minerva got some unexpected cuddles out of it. She can scold him in the morning.

Aw that was wonderful. And reminds me of when my husband is sick and doesn't take care of himself--I complain all the while I'm trying to make him feel better. Great to see that sweet side of Severus (and yes, I think he can bring it out, for 'special occasions').
Response from kellychambliss (Author of Rx)
Thanks! I like to think SS has a softer side, too -- rarely shown, true, but still there. Thanks for commenting.~~Kelly

Polyjuice - ahahahahahahahaha!Severus is indeed, fortunate that Minerva feels so rotten - his rantings about Gryffindors had me snorting! *shakes head* Minerva is obviously made of sturdier stuff, because I surely couldn't tolerate him for long. *chuckles*And it begs to question - why DIDN'T she go to Poppy???
Response from kellychambliss (Author of Rx)
I suspect she's used to the rants /g/. And he *did* make her a nice toddy. As for Poppy -- I think of Minerva as like my mother, someone who disliked the inconvenience of going to doctors so much that she was constantly making her own diagnoses and coming up with reasons for why she didn't need to see a doctor after all. Even the time she broke her ankle and we all heard it snap, she kept trying to come up with reasons why she shouldn't go to the hospital. For some reason, I see Minerva as similar. Thanks for reading, dear!~~Kelly

Ha! I'm sure it was on their minds, too -- at least when Minerva felt better. Thanks for reading.
I simply love how he takes care of her (and won't give her the means to talk until he is done with her). A very sweet story.

Thanks for reading and commenting! I like to be able to give Snape a few pleasant moments in his life.~~Kelly
