I like to read, and I have this compulsion to write.
And the lovely banner above was made by Talesofsnape, a friend of mine.

So tough to read, but I can completely understand where he's coming from. Very well done to show the futility he surely must have been feeling at that moment. For so long he had thought he was controlling the board, but it turned out he was the one he was the pawn.

Thank you for the lovely review. This story might be the most difficult one I hav ever written, so I'm glad you think I managed to convey what I wanted.

Your title is very apt! I like seeing Lucius' POV here. Thank you!

Thank you! I'm glad you think so. That one sentence, when Harry sees Lucius and Narcissa running through the battle screaming for Draco stuck in my mind when I read the book. That's how this story came to be.

But in a way he did win - just a bit. At least he's not looking at the broken bodies of his wife and son. Perhaps that will be enough to carry him through what he'll have to face.

Exactly, and I do think he came to that conclusion eventually, and that Harry winning was a far, far better thing for the Malfoys than Voldemort winning.

Interesting insight into the Malfoys. And I like your description of Molly, what she should look like and how she really is.

I always did like Molly a lot. There are so much hidden layers to her, in my opinion, and I wanted to say something abou that with this little story. I'm very glad you noticed that. Thank you for reading and reviewing.
