It reminds me of one of my favorite stories where Hermione kills Voldemort with a shotgun because she worked out that in the years it would take him to reassemble himself, the horocruxes could be found and destroyed (rather than doing it the other way around like in the books).

There really are a lot of uncomplicated ways to get rid of Voldemort.
