Hello all, I am a 53 year old from NZ. Although SSHG is how I started and still my main pairing, I'll give pretty much any pairing a try, whether it be reading or writing. Sev and Herms need a bit of variety at times. ;)
Reviews for Luna Lovegood and the Melancholic Cephalopod
ewwww this is just soooo wrong, but I couldn't stop reading, I think I need professional help after this. Am I sick to find this so funny?
Response from sunny33 (Author of Luna Lovegood and the Melancholic Cephalopod)
Not sick, just a teensy bit warped... like the rest of us! :)

I read this three days ago and I still have nightmares...
Response from sunny33 (Author of Luna Lovegood and the Melancholic Cephalopod)
LOL. Do you need some brain bleach? :D
I never imagine Luna and , well. I'd better not think of it *shudder*
Response from sunny33 (Author of Luna Lovegood and the Melancholic Cephalopod)
*passes brain bleach*:)
"Wonder what she sees in them."Definitely not that three feet long :))
Response from sunny33 (Author of Luna Lovegood and the Melancholic Cephalopod)
True! :)
Response from edolin (Reviewer)
Oh my, I just realised something..."I'm magical, but I'm still a squid, Luna. Five minutes of fun and they both perished in the cold and lonely sea. Squids die after mating." This couldn't mean... NO WAY! I mean, well, Luna isn't a squid. And, Marvin didn't actually use his three feet long (in the right palce)... Please tell me Marvin is still talking to Luna right now (with his morose countenance and AR's voice)...
Response from edolin (Reviewer)
Oops!"And how many times do I have to repeat myself? I'm magical. The usual rules don't apply."I must be drooling all over... or something. Never mind.I wish I could Vanished my stupid response or Oblivate myself
Response from sunny33 (Author of Luna Lovegood and the Melancholic Cephalopod)
ROFL. It appears squidsex addled your brains! :P
LOL that was funny! :O)
Response from sunny33 (Author of Luna Lovegood and the Melancholic Cephalopod)
Thanks. :)
Well having read much of quaffie's writing and seeing the praise heaped on her beta I had to read a sunny story (recommended by Q). Having microwaved my brain with the image of cephalo-humanoid coupling, I dived (ugh!) in.Hilarious dialogue, very descriptive. Worryingly touching! Oh my God, what have I just written.God help me I enjoyed it! Tee, hee, hee. Thankyou.
Response from sunny33 (Author of Luna Lovegood and the Melancholic Cephalopod)
LOL. I fear you will have completely the right wrong impression of me. What has that woman been saying? :D
Wonderful - so wrong and yet so right!! Marvin as the squid is utter genius! As a child of the 80's I always hear Marvin in his original radio / TV voice, but the reviews reminded me who played him in the film, so I went back and re-read, hearing Alan instead, and it was even better!! Thanks for polluting my brain for the day, anyway!
Response from sunny33 (Author of Luna Lovegood and the Melancholic Cephalopod)
You're welcome. Any time you need a little brain pollution, just let me know! :)
Well - in Hitchhiker's Guide, I always loved The Alan's rendering of "This will all end in tears, I just know it..." but in this case.... "This will all end in... squeals??" Oh gods, I just can't quite decide whether to laugh, choke... or have terribly inappropriate ideas.... /g/ This was so damn much fun !!
Response from sunny33 (Author of Luna Lovegood and the Melancholic Cephalopod)
LOL Glad you enjoyed it. :)
Tentacle porn is supposed to make me laugh and cringe, not ... what? No, no, I was most definitely laughing and cringing only. *feels dirty*This totally made my night. You have a real gift for ... whatever this is. I never knew how lonely the Giant Squid really is. Thank goodness for Luna! You had her character perfect, and Marvin was perfect. When's the wedding? I loved the ending lines from her friends *dies laughing* Keppie had SO better step up to the plate. That's all I have to say about that.
Response from sunny33 (Author of Luna Lovegood and the Melancholic Cephalopod)
Don't forget you were in the four-way poking session as well, missie! :)
Response from HBAR (Reviewer)
I'm all over it! And for me that means I'll have mine done, oh, about 2014. *headdesk*
Having read this twice I feel doubly sullied. But, I am resilient, and now all that has to be done is encourage keppiehed to complete her offering. Already, I'm rubbing my hands together in anticipation.Come on, keppie, step up to the challenge.
Response from sunny33 (Author of Luna Lovegood and the Melancholic Cephalopod)
You'll just have to use stronger detergent... ;)
And what makes this even more disturbing is that in the Hitchhikers Guide movie, Warwick Davis (Prof Flitwick) played Marvin and Alan Rickman (Snape) voiced the part of Marvin. Well, I'm glad Luna is an equal-opportunity um, shagger.
Response from sunny33 (Author of Luna Lovegood and the Melancholic Cephalopod)
Exactly. ;)
I blame you. I had Marvin's voice in my head and we both know who that is. This is soooooo wrong. Very perverse but funny.
Response from sunny33 (Author of Luna Lovegood and the Melancholic Cephalopod)
I could hear Marvin the whole time I was writing it. :)
O this was fun! As soon as I read his name I knew the reference and remembered our dear Alan Rickman voices Marvin in the movie. It also remembered me of a famous erotic Japanese woodblock print of a woman and a squid.
Response from sunny33 (Author of Luna Lovegood and the Melancholic Cephalopod)
LOL. What is it with the Japanese and squids? :)
Response from orlando switch (Reviewer)
Well it seems they either eat them or (dream to) have sex with them :)
Never read it, but this was funny! ^_^
Response from sunny33 (Author of Luna Lovegood and the Melancholic Cephalopod)
Thanks! :D
Response from MsTree (Reviewer)
I should probably have said I needed the laugh. My nephew was here on leave, but left this morning to go back to Afghanistan. A lot of long faces in this house the last two days. ^_^
This is SO WRONG.
Response from sunny33 (Author of Luna Lovegood and the Melancholic Cephalopod)
As the song goes: "How can this be wrong when it feels so right?" :P
Response from LivingTheDream (Reviewer)
I feel sullied and unusual.

Any time you need a little sullying, you know who to call.
You sure knows how to write a interesting and entertaining stories:-)
Response from sunny33 (Author of Luna Lovegood and the Melancholic Cephalopod)
It was definitely a challenge! :)
Wow. I signed up specifically to read this story, as the pairing intrigued/disturbed/both? me, and I'm so very glad I did. Your characterization of the Squid was the perfect foil for Luna, and placing the story after a harsh lesson with the Carrows made the pairing (really can't believe I'm saying this) believable-ish. No small feat for Squid/Luna. So, brava, and as the rest of your canon has been so highly recommended, I might just take a look...
Response from sunny33 (Author of Luna Lovegood and the Melancholic Cephalopod)
Go on, have a peek. ;)
Oh my ... this absolutely MADE my day! I have to tell you, I was a bit shocked, but you had me laughing out loud at your audacity! Full credit to you for the best squid story I have ever read. This was a corker! *whew* I have been messing around halfheartedly with mine, but this just upped the ante. I'd best get writing, since you kept your end of the bargain. Very well done! :D
Response from sunny33 (Author of Luna Lovegood and the Melancholic Cephalopod)
Does that mean I can poke you too? Or shall I send Marvin? :D
Response from Keppiehed (Reviewer)
You and Marvin poking me make a pretty convincing threesome, I'd say! ;) I have 300 words right now. I have to speed up the arachnid action if I am ever going to compare to this!
Response from sunny33 (Author of Luna Lovegood and the Melancholic Cephalopod)
I had an advantage. Squids have 10 tentacles; spiders only have 8 legs. ;)
Gigglesnort. I love a good squidfic and this one is lovely. Marvin's voice suits him so well and Luna is perfect :-)
Response from sunny33 (Author of Luna Lovegood and the Melancholic Cephalopod)
I'll add you to the list. Not telling what list... ;)
