Awwww ... this was nice. I like vulnerable Draco, all-knowing Luna, and all-grown-up Neville. Who wouldn't want to be cared for like one of his plants? Lovely.

Aww, that was beautiful. And I so love Luna. Loved seeing Draco in this light. And the Draco/Neville thing seems to work somehow. Well done!

Quite lovely. I adore the prickly plant metaphor. And you've used Luna very well--I really enjoyed that look between Draco and Harry as she led Draco off. Well done. Thank you for a very rewarding break in my exam grading!

Oh, sweet. Good that Draco finally got some insight into his past. I think the canon one never felt as much remorse. If it weren't for Luna, how long would it have taken these two late bloomers? I also like the idea that year 7 had been anulled for those attending Hogwarts. It makes far more sense than 'honorable NEWTs'. Small critique: I think Draco (anyone) would not think of himself that he's 'wasting away'--at least not in the words you had him think about it. They suit better for an external observer. However, it matters little since this period is over now.

Heh. You're right, no one really writes cannon Draco. We always soften him and make him a bit nicer. Without Luna it might have taken them years! They both would have gone too slowly and been too shy. Them redoing year 7 is cannon for me whatever JKR might say...Haha! I got a bit carried away with the poetic language, didn't I? Maybe if Draco was feeling very dramatic and theatrical, he might think of himself as "wasting away".Thank you for your lovely comment! I'm so happy you enjoyed my little fic!

Neville/ Draco pairing is not one that I've seen very often. but it works here. I really love Luna as cupid.
