But ... but ... but ... WHAT'S IN ROOM EIGHT?!?!? Okay, screaming at the computer won't help. I shall just have to read on when I get the chance. Congratulations on another published work! I hope this means that the first one was successful. Yay you!What I love about the second book in a series is that there is no need for set up of characters and locations and such. We can just jump right into the thick of things. And jump we did. There is so much already going on in just a short time, and you had me hanging on your every word. What is going on with Gabriel?I had forgotten how much I like these two men. They are so different, and yet seem so compatible. And flawed or not, you can't help but like them. I do hope nothing happens to drive them apart *bites nails*And might I say the cover of the book would have me sufficiently intrigued even if I wasn't already. I can't wait to find out what happens! Again, congrats to you. And remember, just because you are miss fancy published author doesn't mean that you can't write a bit of fanfic should the impulse arise *is shameless in her goading* :)

I wrote two other books between part one and two of the Tainted series, and to me, it was not easy to get back into the story, and become familiar with the characters again. This is an amazing story so far and I would love to read more of it. I do have one question though, how do you pronounce Aleksei? Upon first reading the name I thought it was Alex-see.
