LOL... Well, with Arthur and Lucius, it might have been anything!
Spellotape obviously wasn't quite good enough. If they'd been muggles they would have known duct tape would do the trick. If you can't fix it with duct tape, you haven't used enough.

Thank you!An incident came to mind involving a house we moved into when I was a kid, my dad wanting to make coffee, and *cellophane* tape on the necessary pipes. I don't think plumbing before coffee was exactly what my dad had in mind.

This reminds me so much of two of my husband's uncles who were referred to fondly in the family as Tape and Wire because that was their solution to every home repair !!

I kind of like the idea of a pipe-charmer. I bet they have less magic than people who get accepted at Hogwarts, but more than squibs. LOL. Thank you for the review!
