Enjoyed the Black sisters working the room with the Ministry officials, though it seems that Severus did not--hehe! Cormac is enjoying more than the superficial exterior of Cissy, and himself, and Hermione's attraction to Severus is delightful, uncontrollable, being blurted out while trying to maintain etiquette. Love the dream sequence, foreshadowing possibly what's to come--interesting twists in this series as it flows along, enjoying all of the different character interaction!

Amita! Thank you for the new installment! I love this collection with all its twists and turns.  This story in particular is interesting because it seems to have Severus as the chaser and the chasee.  Hermione desperately wants to be with him, yet he seems to be harboring a little internal jealousy at the attention the Black sisters are giving the Education spies and Cormac! Hermione isn't clueless to it all, but she's going to have to learn how to fight fire with fire if she wants to get Severus' attentions!

Interesting...it would appear that Hermione is not the only one who's feeling insecure, but it also sounds as if there is more intrigue going on here than in one of the noble houses of the Italian Renaissance!  I think I might have missed or forgotten some clues somewhere along the way because I'm finding it difficult to keep track of the story (and the fact that chapters are being posted as individual stories doesn't really help)....what exactly is going on here?  Hermione's attracted to Severus (who at least for awhile was involved with Parvati) but thinks he's interested in Andromeda...that much I get, but the rest of it is rather confusing (although it sounds as if Cormac might be using his outrageous outfit in order to disguise his own insecurities).
